RESPONSIBILITIES

Management Reporting and Financial Operations

• Lead and manage Finance team for full spectrum day-to-day financial operations and overall financial and accounting aspect of the assigned business units.
• Responsible for timely month/year end closing, review of monthly schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, and yearly and/or special reports and/or financial planning analysis as required.
• Assist with the development and refinement of the financial policies, systems and processes.

Annual Group Consolidation

• Lead the group consolidation process for audit purposes, including preparation of consolidated financial statements.

Audit and Compliance Review

• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process for the Singapore entities, liaise with external auditors.

Other related duties

• Provide direction, guidance and mentoring to the Finance team, including critically evaluating existing work processes and performance with the aim of rationalization and improving efficiency.

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification with 5-8 years of relevant experience and at least 3 years of experience with an audit firm.
• Good knowledge of external audit, internal controls and corporate governance.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions and ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Good understanding and application knowledge of SFRS, Tax and other regulatory frameworks.

• MOE Scholarships
  • The job holder will work with Admissions and MOE on awarding of the ASEAN scholarships and S&T scholarships.
  • The job holder will conduct a briefing to MOE scholars at SMU at the beginning of each Academic Year and assist scholars on auxiliary expenses that are part of their awards.
  • He/She will also keep track of the scholars' academic performance and eligibility to continue with their scholarships.
• Non-Tuition Fee Schemes, Loans, and Work Study Grants
  • The job holder will also oversee activities required to award non-tuition fee related schemes to SMU students such as study mission grants, exchange scholarships and community service project grants.
  • The job holder will work with Finance to assist students with loan applications such as Tuition Fee Loans (TFL) and Study Loans.
  • For work study grants, the job holder will work with hiring offices and HR to hire qualifying students for the Work on Campus programme.
• Outreach/Marketing effort and customer service
  • The job holder will be responsible for outreach presentation and talks, participate in SMU Open House and other events as part of a joint OAFA effort alongside the admissions team.
  • The job holder and his/her team will manage enquiries (phone calls, emails, walk-ins, appointments) from prospective students/parents and current students/parents.
• Student Awards
  • Each year CSFA serves as secretariat to facilitate the selection of Valedictorian/Salutatorian, coordinating with the interview panel and shortlisted interviewees.
  • The job holder will work with schools and RO to enrol students into ISIS for academic and non- academic awards

• Degree with at least 10 years of administrative work experience (preference for prior experience in higher education or governmental organisation.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Canva, Power BI and Adobe Acrobat.

Role Overview

As an Admin Executive, Compliance, you will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Department by handling key administrative tasks related to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks and the Life Insurance Association (LIA) ICCSC framework. Key Responsibilities

• LIA ICCSC Framework: Assist in managing the LIA ICCSC framework to ensure the company remains compliant with industry standards.

Yongan International Financial (Singapore) is hiring a Finance Officer role to expand our growing business within the industry. You will be part of our finance teams, to support areas include Accounting, Reconciliation and Regulatory Reporting.

Responsibilities:

a) Perform daily Accounting & Finance duties including Accounts Receivable and Account Payable function such as update of receipt of Funds/cheques from Clients, processing of Clients payment request, validation of invoices, and prepare payment to vendors and staff claim.

b) Preparation of Journal entries (Fixed Assets, Prepayment etc), balance sheet reconciliation for month end closing, ensure entries are recorded accurately into accounting system.

c) Preparation of Monthly Bank Reconciliation and ensure prompt resolutions of unreconciling items.
