Job Description:

The Production Planner is in-charged of the planning and scheduling of products from the Food Retail central kitchen to Food Retail outlets.

Responsibilities:

Plan and manage the schedule to efficiently streamline the production operations.
Plan equipment, raw material, and manpower requirements to execute job orders.
Allocate job orders to workstations to fulfill the work orders and ensure stock levels remain adequate.
Coordinating all production activities and operations with the kitchen in-charge.
Work with the Chef in-charge on new recipes and their food cost, to formulate the production process (SOP) for each work station.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to determine and fulfill required orders (e.g. new product launch, daily projection)

Skills / Qualifications:
Diploma in Business / Supply Chain Management / Process Engineering
Min 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience
Strong communication and coordination skills

Job Responsibilities

· Collaborating closely with internal departments & both internal and external suppliers, develops and delivers an on-going supply plan for a designated portfolio, in line with appropriate planning and modelling approach and toolkit.

· Build robust planning tool to model & simulate demand to define and propose best stocking policy to meet customer & service department requirements within inventory targets.

· Ensure all supplier prices, lead time and MOQ’s are accurately maintained in IFS ERP system.

· Ensures all open purchase orders are kept updated with latest ETA.

· Working with other departments (sales, customer service, service dept) develops and evaluates the demand (forecast) for top ranking items to ensure right stock, in right location to meet customer requirements.

· Communicates regularly and in a timely manner relevant information into the sales and operational performance process and to relevant suppliers (internal and third party)

· Generates regular and timely trend analyses, insights and business recommendations, feeding these into the local sales and operational planning process to drive optimum availability.

· Carries out regular and timely risk assessment for the demand and supply planning function; identifies, manages and mitigates demand related business risk effectively and appropriately

· Reviews existing operations in own area of work and implements innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered

· Resolves queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy

· Drop customer orders placed by sub-regions.

· Supports the sub-regions supply chain leadership team in increasing sub-region business knowledge of the sales and operational planning process, including communicating and training colleagues on process and planning best practice.

· Develops own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.

· Any other tasks/duties as assigned by line manager from time to time

Job Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related qualification.

· 3 - 5 years of experience in Demand and Supply Planning.

· Good relational skills, to be able to work in an international environment and to be able to build and keep strong relationships with stakeholders.

· Team player, experience in working in a highly cross-functional organization.

· Sense of urgency, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

· Initiative and curiosity, willing to grow and be challenged in a very exciting and fast environment.
