The WSHE Officer is responsible for carrying out all the environmental, health and safety tasks to create and maintain a safe workplace and culture.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Discharge duties as relevant in the WSH Act, WSH (Workplace Safety and Health (Officers) Regulations and Environmental Public Health Act
• Implement and maintain proper procedures of WSHE management, administrative and recording system
• Assist the WSHE committee chairman, act as secretary to the committee and provide guidance to the members in carrying out their safety duties
• Conduct team/ individual WSHE inspections and produce relevant reports and follow-ups
• Organize / conduct WSHE briefing/ training to all employees
• Investigate every incident/ accident and develop preventive measures
• Ensure risk assessment control measures are implemented for their activities.
• Be prepared to stop work or to notify the Site Manager in the event of any WSHE deviations

• In-depth knowledge of WSHE legal guidelines to advise and facilitate site activities

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Minimum Specialist Diploma in Safety, Health and Environment as stipulated in the Singapore Ministry of Manpower’s accepted WSH-related qualifications
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the Construction industry
• Registered WSHO with Ministry of Manpower
• Registered Environmental Control Officer with National Environment Agency
• Certification in Lifting Supervisors Safety Course
• Certification in Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Course
• Certification in Confined Space Safety Assessor Course
• Certification in Manage Hazardous Substances
• Certification in Control Noise and Vibration

The QA Officer is a key appointment in the department and takes the lead in the development, monitoring, and review of QA procedures. The QA Officer is also responsible for ensuring the administration and accurate and appropriate recording and storage of QA records and associated documentation. He / She will also provide administrative support to the department and the QA structures of HWA as required.

This is a position of responsibility that requires the ability to work autonomously and the confidence to provide sound direction and guidance to colleagues, both junior and senior, concerning quality assurance requirements and procedures.

Job Descriptions:

• Support quality assurance and enhancement activities throughout the School
• Play an active role in ensuring that quality assurance and enhancement issues are appropriately considered throughout the School
• Manage the production of relevant quality assurance literature, reports, and other documentation
• Prepare executive summaries of all relevant internal and external documentation and outputs, as required by management and other audiences
• Prepare reports and other forms of assurance for the Academic Board and the Governing Body
• Assist management and staff on developments within the fields of quality assurance and enhancement
• Any other relevant duties assigned by the School

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of Law or Quality Assurance will be an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, versatile, resourceful, and result-oriented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Duration: 12 months extendable and convertible

Location: Kallang

Working hours: 08.00am – 5.00pm or 08.30am – 5.30pm (Monday to Friday, 8 hours work per day)

Alternate Saturday 08.00am – 1.00pm (4 hours work)

Up to 3 months bonus per year

Singaporean

GCE 'N' Levels

At least 2 years of experience in contact centre handling voice and/or non-voice channels

Self-directed, able to multi-task, self-motivated and able to work under pressure

Possess initiative to respond to customer’s needs with a commitment towards service excellence

• Preparing for submission of MAS regulatory returns, forms and surveys and for Head Office reporting
