Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Issue Resolution: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Planning & Support: Provide support during sprint planning and production planning. Work closely with various application teams to support different types of releases.
• Release Management: Assist with paperwork and processes related to software releases.
• System Analysis: Analyze system requirements and contribute to development.
• Automation & Stabilization: Offer solutions to improve and stabilize automation efforts, reducing manual work.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering related studies.
• Experience: At least 7 years of experience in Java development preferred.
• Must be committed to complete the 10 months project contract.
• Core Java & Frameworks: Strong knowledge of Core Java, with a focus on Java 8 or later versions. Experience with Java 17 is a plus.
• Linux Proficiency: Strong command of basic Linux commands and shell scripting; comfortable working in a Linux environment.
• Memory Management: Clear understanding of Java memory management, including garbage collection and memory allocation.
• Multithreading & Concurrency: In-depth knowledge of multithreading and concurrency concepts, including the use of volatile and Atomic classes.
• Data Structures: Well-versed in data structures, particularly HashMap.
• Web Frameworks: Proficient in Java web frameworks.
• Database Expertise: Experience working with Oracle databases.
• FIX Protocol: Experience with FIX protocol and the ability to identify trades or cancel messages is an advantage
• Migration Experience: Hands-on experience migrating from Spring to Spring Boot.
• CI/CD Tools: Familiar with Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Project Management Tools: Well-versed with JIRA.
• Enhancements & Migrations: Experienced in handling enhancements and migrations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reports, ensuring data accuracy and visualization.
• Create task schedules for automation and implement ETL processes.
• Work with the application development team to define the application data model, design and implement database tables, views, functions, and stored procedures to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain database-related codes / scripts such as data sync scripts, data masking scripts, stored procedures etc.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for integration with other applications, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
• Modify databases according to requests, perform tests, and ensure data consistency.
• Review data mapping/conversion/integration specs between systems to ensure appropriate mapping quality and adherence to modelling strategies.
• Plan and strategize data mapping for migration of data from legacy systems to support the deployment of the project, ensuring no data loss during conversion.
• Monitor and manage user enquiries and issues on the systems helpdesk, providing timely and effective support.
• Provide production support and responsible for the resolution of database related issues and standby duty rotation for after-office-hours support.
• Provide support on to application team on database related matters (e.g. data patching, application deployments, extracting data from database for reporting)
• Troubleshoot system issues, identifying and resolving problems efficiently.
• Work on tuning and optimizing database related operation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related technical discipline, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• At least 8 to 12 years proven experience as a Database Developer or in a similar role, with high proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL scripting, T-SQL, or other procedural extensions.
• 5 to 8 years of IT database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting experience, with good track records with Oracle / MS SQL / DB2 / MySQL / PostgreSQL / MariaDB / MongoDB databases including setting up and managing the environment.
• At least 3 years’ experience with data integration, ETL processes & tools, and data co-existence technology with legacy systems.
• Familiarity with Java, Python, .Net Framework, JavaScript, and HTML, with a good understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with big data platforms or data warehouses like Snowflake, Hadoop, or DataBricks.
• Experience in setting up and managing databases in a high availability active-active setup will be added advantage.
• Must be able to perform standby duty rotation for after-office-hours support.

• Should have minimum of 6 months hands on experience in Java development / support.
• Poly Graduates (IT diploma) are highly preferred.
• Should have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

- Translate functional design into technical specifications, utilizing CloudSense out-of-the-box features ​
- Perform code build ​
- Deployment of the completed codes into the development and testing environment​
- Support SIT, UAT and BRT testing & to perform bug fix

Requirements:

Must Have:​

• 2+ years of CloudSense B2B CPQ platform and Order Management development experience​
• Functional knowledge about Telco Order Management Systems capabilities and CPQ capabilities.​

Preferred:

• Knowledge about Telco Enterprise B2B ordering and fulfilment journeys​
• Familiarity with Telco industry​
• Knowledge about Telco fixed line connectivity products (e.g. Ethernet, VPN, Optical Fibre connectivity etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.​
