As a Front Office Shift Leader, Night, you will be working permanent night shift and be responsible for the operational efficiency and service delivery of all front office areas. You’ll also assist to create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location and achieve the highest possible guest satisfaction. Night shift allowance will be provided for this position.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Conducting effective shift briefings to inform team members about daily hotel activities and operational requirements
- Supervising the use of public address system and group bookings
- Maintaining guest and local events information
- Supervising cashiering activities
- Assisting and handling serious guest complaints
- Compiling occupancy statistics
- Assisting superior with team member related matters to ensure high productivity levels
- Building rapport and strong relations with the Front Office team
- Ensuring all procedures are conducted safely and according to policies, procedures and guidelines
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
- Logging security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
What we need from you
- A minimum Diploma qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Fluency in spoken English language. Knowledge in an extra language skill would be great, but not essential
- Strong knowledge on Singapore and places for recommendation to business travellers/ tourists in creating a memorable hotel experience for them
- Motivated individual with a friendly personality
- Strong Interpersonal skills
