About DDB Group Singapore – DDB Group has been Singapore's most awarded agency for marketing effectiveness for 12 years. At DDB, our vision is "Power To Move," reflecting our commitment to creating impactful strategies that taps into emotions to shape creative work that moves people and moves business success. We join human insights with smart data to get useful strategies that direct creativity for our clients’ business advantage. Our expertise isn’t tied to a specific system, platform, or media channel. It’s tied to well-substantiated convictions on what your brand and consumers need. We are the regional headquarters for the network across Asia.
About planning – The planning team at DDB Group helps to provide strategic steering so the agency’s output achieves maximum impact for our clients; and plays an integral role in winning and growing business. There isn’t a cookie-cutter mold for planners, but our combined expertise covers the disciplines of brand, communications, digital, social media/community and data/insights so the agency group can continue to lead the industry in delivering effective marketing for clients.
About the role – As a planner, you will work:
- With account and planning leads to create strategies that address clients’ business needs
- With the creative and technology teams to inspire and validate the end-to-end conceptualisation, implementation and optimisation of integrated marketing initiatives
You will be expected to work well in a team or as an individual contributor. You will be a strategist and tactician with the ability to get hands-on with data (including but not limited to web analytics, transactions, social insights, search insights and traditional primary/secondary research) while always keeping the big picture in mind so you can formulate and defend an appropriate point of view on implications and actions. You will have contact with clients of various levels of seniority and make confidence-instilling recommendations that drive behavioural change and business benefit, not views and likes.
This role is to support some of DDB’s largest clients and Singapore’s most loved brands. The work that DDB and this brand create together wins numerous awards and industry accolades. Specifically, this role will support a portfolio of accounts across the telco, property, electronics and government sectors on a range of projects that span the gamut from integrated campaigns to long-term marketing platforms, digital transformation and new business. This portfolio cuts across all agencies within the group. No two days or engagements are identical. Variety and codeswitching aren’t a good-to-have; they’re 100% necessary to do well.
