You will provide direct services to patients with chronic and mental health issues through conducting clinical interviews, screening and assessments in an outpatient setting. You will provide individuals and / or group consultations to patients, implement steps to enhance and facilitate collaborations and integration of services among the multi-disciplinary team at the polyclinic and the NUHS cluster. As part of the Psychology team, you will develop, implement, monitor and evaluate mental health components that will increase quality of patient care, in qualitative and quantitative terms.

You will design, implement, monitor and evaluate in-house training and development curriculum for psychologists/allied health/medical professionals to enhance their service quality, as measured by clinical outcome indicators and perform clinical administration.

Requirements:

• MA/MSC in Applied Psychology (Clinical / Counselling Psychology)
• At least 1 year experience counselling patients with chronic health and psychiatric issues in an outpatient setting
• Registered with Singapore Registrar of Psychologists is preferred
• Interest in Primary Care Psychology and demonstrates acquired therapeutic skills for delivery of services in the management of chronic diseases, prevention and population health.
• Ability to work independently in running clinical services at Polyclinics.
• Have to be prepared to travel to different Polyclinics within NUP
• 5-day work week (Monday to Friday).

The hospital is a test bed for innovative care approaches in Singapore and is currently running a diverse portfolio of studies. Alexandra Research Centre for Healthcare In a Virtual Environment (ARCHIVE) is set-up to support the design of innovative experiments in hospital-supported, community-focused, patient-centred virtual care (vCare) models. ARCHIVE’s projects can include research studies, quality improvement projects and clinical trials that incorporate digital technology to ensure the care models are future ready.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute towards new virtual healthcare projects and manage tasks on the evaluation of existing vCare programs in the areas of telemonitoring, telecollaboration, connected ward ecosystem and virtual care centre.

Job Responsibilities*

You will be responsible for the following:

• Successfully manage projects from start-up to completion.
• Study protocol development
• Develop statistical analysis plans and conduct analyses.
• Oversee study compliance to the ethics requirements and local regulations
• Supervision of quantitative and/or qualitative analysis
• Development of scientific papers and the dissemination of the study findings
• Preparation of proposals for new grants
• Conduct literature reviews, including systematic reviews.
• Mentoring junior staff
• Engage with healthcare professionals and collaborators to support research activities.

Requirements*

• PH.D. in Public Health or Health Services Research
• Proven track record in clinical/public health/health services research, with outstanding management abilities and a demonstrated track record of leadership.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experiences
• Strong acumen with in-depth understanding of quantitative and ideally qualitative research methodologies.
• Proficient in use of standard statistical or qualitative software e.g. STATA, SPSS, NVivo.
• Good scientific writing skills as demonstrated by track records of publications in international peer-reviewed journals
• Able to drive research projects from design, implementation to deployment
• Project management capabilities and experience in driving a cohesive research team and cross teaming environment
• Possess confidence to resonate with clinician investigators and research collaborators – internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
• Good analytical and organization skills
• Excellent communication, problem solving, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skill

Academic Requirement:

Diploma in Human Resource Management or higher

Experience/ Skill:

▪ With at least 2 years’ experience in Human Resources environment.

▪ Resourceful, mature, good interpersonal and communication skills

▪ Confidentiality, tactful and discretion when dealing with people.

▪ Well versed in Employment Act and Industrial Relation.

▪ Computer literate.

The incumbent is responsible to:

• Perform radiographic examinations in general or advanced imaging modality (e.g. Ultrasound, CT, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Angiography, etc)
• Provide excellent services and care to patients
• Adhere to safe work practices especially patient safety, radiation protection and infection control
• Supervise student radiographers
• Actively participate and contribute in quality improvement projects and quality assurance programmes

Job Requirements:

• Recognized Diploma / Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
• Registered or Eligible for AHPC registration
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Candidate with experience of MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, CT or Angiography will be an advantage
• Willing to perform shifts which include weekends / public holiday and on-call duties
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
