Major Duties And Responsibilities

SPECIFIC (80%)

• To provide individual and/or group psychotherapy for inpatients and outpatients (e.g. cognitive behaviour therapy, supportive therapy, relaxation therapy, stress management).
• To provide psychometric assessments (e.g. IQ, neuropsychological, dementia).
• To attend to complex inpatients or outpatients, as well as medico-legal and forensic cases.
• To handle direct referrals from other medical professionals, police and the courts.
• To assist in developing the hospital’s peer support program for staff and/or corporate clients and deliver talks and workshops on stress management and mental health.
• To lead and provide supervision to Masters in Clinical Psychology students and junior psychologists.

GENERAL (20%)

• Involvement in support groups (e.g. weight management support group) and/or provide input for relevant hospital programmes.
• To conduct or be involved in research independently or in collaboration with other specialists.
• To conduct teaching and training in psychology or related subjects to mental health or other professionals and/or psychology students.
• To undertake any special duties as assigned by CEO, CMB, COO, HOD and supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Masters in Clinical Psychology with at least 5-10 years of relevant working experience
• Preferably holding or eligible for a valid registration, license or practising certificate with an established or recognised psychological professional body such as APA, APS or BPS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the beauty center, including scheduling appointments, managing staff, and ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise beauty therapists, estheticians, and support staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Customer Service: Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained. Address client inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance the overall experience.
• Financial Management: Manage the center’s budget, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability. Handle cash management, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote services and products. Analyze sales data and customer trends to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of beauty products and supplies, ensuring adequate stock and maintaining vendor relationships for supply procurement.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Service Development: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging treatments. Introduce new services and promotions to attract and retain clients.

Requirements:

Education and Qualifications:

• Education: A degree or diploma in business management, cosmetology, or a related field is often preferred.
• Certification: Relevant beauty therapy or management certifications may be required, depending on the services offered.

Experience:

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the beauty or wellness industry is essential.
• Experience as a beauty therapist or esthetician may be advantageous.

• The Beauty Centre Manager typically works in a salon or spa environment, which may involve standing for extended periods and engaging directly with clients and staff.

Job Description & Requirements

· Co-ordinates schedules including setting appointments, maintaining calendar of activities and events.

· Organizes and schedules meetings and conference calls

· Assist with creation/modifications of online postings, spreadsheets, and other various documents

· Handle all sales related enquires and documents.

· Providing buddy back-up support / covering duties to secretaries who are absent.

· Collating and filing expenses, receipts, invoices and other documents.

· Performs adhoc administrative support functions.

Any other miscellaneous task as assigned by manager when necessary.

Job Scope

• Be service ambassador and deliver an excellent experience for our customers
• Assist Retail Manager to ensure smooth operations at our shops
• Replenishment, housekeeping, implementation of marketing promotions and administrative matters
• Explain to customer the ingredient and function of the product to customer
