Diagnostic Radiographers

Diagnostic radiographers work with sophisticated medical equipment and use a wide range of techniques to produce radiographic images of the human body to aid the healthcare team in diagnosing illness or injury. They manage the technology to produce, display, manipulate, transmit and archive radiographic images. The image data is processed using high-end systems to produce complex multi-planar and 3D reconstructions. They will have opportunities to work in specialised areas utilising state-of-the-art equipment such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional Radiography, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Carry out duties in accordance with WSH (Workplace Safety and Health Officers) Regulations 2007
• Conduct daily diligent site inspections, regularly review the safety of work processes assist the occupier to ensure compliance with Section 11 of the WSH Act 2006 and other applicable legislation
• Lead Team of WSH Coordinators/Supervisors on site
• Manage sub-contractors' safety procedures and ensure compliance with the organization's Health and Safety standards, policies and practices
• Plan, organize and conduct in–house safety training for all workers as and when necessary
• Ensure proper evaluation and assessment for safety on site has been carried out for high-risk work activities prior to the approval of Permit-to-work at the project site
• Liaise with authorities and clients in matters relating to WSH
• Assist the Corporate HSE Department in implementing management HSE directives, programs and strategies in the project site
• Lead and prepare the site for ConSASS Audits
• Prepare site documents for ISO 45001 Audits and support Corporate ISO Team in ensuring compliance with standards for the project site
• Adopt CAPA methodology and Proactive Approach to address unsafe conditions and acts on site
• Escalate health and safety lapses immediately to Corporate HSE Department when required
• Be the secretary for WSH Committee on site
• Member of the Risk management team

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must be a MOM registered WSHO 2 years post registration
• Diploma or Degree in Safety, Health and Environment Workplace Certification is essential

Responsibilities

The Department of Cardiac Radiology provides the patients of NHCS with diagnostic radiological imaging services and invasive cardiology procedure imaging services. Diagnostic radiological imaging includes general radiography, mobile radiography and CT scans. The CT team provides specialised Cardiac Scans for diagnostic, pre-procedural and surgical planning.

As part of the invasive cardiac angiography team, you will assist in procedures such as Coronary Angiography and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) at the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and Hybrid Operating Theatre.
