ACCOUNTABILITIES

Academic Support

• Deliver and/or facilitate course lectures / tutorials / lab sessions related to the domain expertise, according to prescribed lesson plans to meet the desired learning outcomes and create an engaging and enriching environment for learning.
• Coordinates with course coordinators / course leaders and/or associates regarding course assessments, moderation, and examination.

Academic Quality Assurance

• Implement SIM GE academic processes, policies and procedures.
• Maintain robust/fair and rigorous assessment standards and workflow.

Administrative Support to Relevant Divisions and/or Departments

• Provide inputs to internal administrative divisions and/or departments on teaching and learning development in the domain areas offered by SIM GE and University Partners.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of a Master’s degree with good knowledge in any of the *disciplines within the department is required.
• Relevant work and teaching experience in any of the *disciplines relevant to the department in a higher education environment is required.
• Knowledge of digital learning tools and the ability to select teaching methods appropriate for the industry and audience is an added advantage.
• Comfortable working independently or as a team player who can work across the organisation's various internal and external levels.
• Strong written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, is an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, well-organised, detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality control, and able to multi-task and work under deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills using innovative and proactive approaches.
• Demonstrate professionalism and student centricity to meet the learning needs of our students.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Teach and train individuals in the art of Muay Thai.

- Lead engaging and effective classes for students of various skill levels and ages.

- Provide technical instruction and individual feedback on techniques.

- Ensure safety and injury prevention during training sessions.

- Evaluate student progress and develop individual training plans.

- Create structured training programs tailored to different skill levels.

- Foster a positive and motivating training environment.

- Stay updated on industry trends and continue personal development.

- Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Report to the Corporate Quality and Safety Department through the Head Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager.
• Monitor and support the company's EHS program and policies, ensuring effective execution of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems and certification.
• Conduct EHS surveys and inspections, recommending corrective actions and advising on safety programs to improve EHS performance.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes, track and update EHS KPI performance of the Business Unit, and ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
• Manage and liaise with authorities on safety and environmental-related matters, ensuring effective communication and compliance.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned to support the EHS function and overall safety performance.

• Candidate who is a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer / FSM is preferred
