Job Summary:

Supervision and Training: The Senior Home Ownership Specialist is required to conduct relevant in-house training for internal staff and external practitioners or volunteers and provide practice supervision (both individual and group based) to Junior Home Ownership Specialists. He/She will plan and implement professional learning and group supervision for the team and assist in building the team towards fulfilling professional growth and development. He/She will ensure work processes are in alignment with the department’s SOPs and policies.

The Job

The Senior Home Ownership Specialist, under the supervision of the Head of Department (Home Ownership), is a key member of the Home Ownership team. He/She will assist in the management of the Home Ownership team, as well as in mentoring and supervising the Junior Home Ownership Specialists. In addition, as a Senior Home Ownership Specialist, he/she will need to support families in various meaningful ways along their home ownership journey.

• Direct work: build strong and supportive relationships with families who are on the KeyStart programme through consistent engagements; provide housing guidance to support families in overcoming their barriers and difficulties faced to achieve home ownership; and advocate together with families to key stakeholders so that they can access the resources they need to overcome systemic barriers that families face in their home ownership journey.
