Requirements:

• Must be familiar with fire pump and the market for fire safety. In lieu of fire pump experience, must have at least experience with marketing of water pumps
• Preferably have technical background in the relevant field at least at ITE level in specializations like electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics etc.
• Technicians / engineers with knowledge of the above product who keen to switch to sales role is welcome to apply.
• Preferably have related sales experience and able to present to customer and consultant
• Need to have at least class 3 driving licence and own vehicle.

Job Responsibilities

• Sourcing/negotiation with various suppliers and subcontractors from company’s vender’s list for pricing/quality/service, to ensure cost competitiveness and service to meet company requirement;
• Keep update of purchase order into company costing system;
• Make monthly purchase report;
• Update vender list of suppliers and subcontractors, build up and update direct contact with local and overseas makers;
• Build up and update data base of company production consumables, ship store supply and ship spares for quotation and purchase purpose;
• Prepare documents including delivery order and apply related permits for ship’s repairs at request;
• Assist for operations arrangement, such as coordination with ship’s agent, superintendent, sub-contractors and our repair team for daily operation if necessary;
• Assist for quotation of ship store and spare supply if necessary;

Job Requirements:

• With relevant experience in Marine Industry / Ship Chandler would be an advantage

Transport: We have company bus departing near Clementi MRT station at 8.10am to bring staff to our office and also a return company bus trip back to Clementi in the evening.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to engineers in compiling reports, letters and drawings for submission
• Coordinate with engineering, client & contractors to ensure schedules are followed
• Ensure client’s requirements on the submitted documents are fulfilled in a timely manner
• Perform quality control and maintenance of the documents (electronic and hard copy documents) as per company procedure
