Job Responsibilities
Supervision and Team Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Provide guidance, support, and supervision to accounting staff.
- Leading and motivating the accounting team in order to achieve the set OKR and KPI
- Ensure that team members adhere to accounting principles and company policies.
- Prepare financial forecast for inter-companies billing.
- Work with department heads to align financial goals across the company
Financial Reporting:
- Maintain Full set of accounting records for multiple companies.
- Prepare staff allocation report.
- Work closely with external counterparties for completion of monthly/yearly closing.
- Provide reliable data for cash flow projections.
- Prepare and review quarterly GST reporting.
- Prepare monthly accounting schedule.
- Prepare and review group of month-end closing report to managements.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly accounts of companies directly under your responsibility and other group of companies handled by accounting staff.
General Ledger Management:
- Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Reviewing financial statements for accuracy and make adjustments when needed.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure the company stays compliant..
- Ensure compliance with local government requirements and timely reporting to relevant regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with auditors and external consultant on compliance matters.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement and increase efficiency in accounting processes.
- Implement best practices to streamline accounting procedures.
- Participate in system upgrades or implementations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Accounting qualifications.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting job, ability to maintain full set of accounts will be an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Excel and common accounting software.
