ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

As an Associate Director, you will work closely with junior staff to design and document the design, finishes, furniture and equipment for projects as well as work on visualizing spaces for internal and client review. The Associate Director is also responsible for managing junior design and drafting staff. In Aedas Interiors we believe that an Associate Director must be someone who is creative, outgoing, articulate, organized, and responsible with experience in hospitality projects

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of interior designers, guiding them in project execution and fostering a collaborative work environment

• Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes and workflows to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the hospitality department

• Collaborating with team in the design conceptualization and development of the project through hand sketches, SketchUp or Revit models and Adobe Creative Suite tools

• Assisting the team with space planning and furniture layouts

• Preparing project presentation materials such as boards, books, PowerPoints, and 3D mockups

• Conducting presentations to clients

• Assisting in sub-consultant coordination as it pertains to interior design to maintain the integrity of the design intent

• Developing and maintaining vendor relationships to develop sources for project materials

• Assembling information from vendors and entering information into specification forms

• Documenting finishes on construction documents and specifications

• Construction Administration duties including answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and site inspections

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements & Attributes:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture Program.

• Minimum 15 years of related experience working in a design studio in a similar position, preferably with a recognized award winning international interior design practice

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Hand sketching skills

• AutoCAD 2015 (mandatory)

• SketchUp (desirable)

• Photoshop (mandatory)

• Revit/ BIM (desirable)

• Adobe InDesign (desirable)

• Illustrator (desirable)

Accounting Responsibilities:

• Verifying suppliers invoice, intercompany transaction
• Preparation of invoices, Purchase Order, Payment Voucher and Cheque Payment to Supplier
• Checking, verifying and processing expenses claimed by staffs(Petty Cash)
• Monitoring cash flow, and aging report
• Daily bookkeeping
• Monitor A/R & A/P
• Profit Balance Loss
• Xero software knowledge would be advantage

HR Responsibilities:

• Assist with foreign employee related queries
• Assist with preparation and issuance of Appointment Letters
• Assist with Payroll
• Arrangement of Employee Team Bonding Event
• Infotech knowledge would be advantage

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Handle company confidential documents
• General administrative duties
• Assist with marketing tools such as Facebook, Instagram

Requirements:

• Proficient Microsoft Office(Word,Excel)
• Able to work independently and multi-task efficiently
• Positive work attitude and display initiative to resolve problems independently

Finance & HR Manager
(70% Finance ; 30% HR)

• Working Hours: 5 Days [9am - 6pm]
• Salary: $3700 - $4500
• Location: Lor Bakar Batu (Potong Pasir MRT)

Responsibilities

• Oversee all finance and accounting functions including financial reporting, cashflow management, budgeting
• Review the GST reports and submission
• Liaise with vendors (eg bankers, auditors, govt agencies, insurers, recruitment agencies, etc) for finance, HR and other admin/corporate matters
• Manage monthly payroll process and staff claim
• Ensure compliance and timely submission of monthly CPF filings
• Manage the full cycle of recruitment activities, on-board/off-board, orientation and foreign worker work pass application
• Continuously review HR policies, procedures and company handbook to be in line with the labour legislations and future business needs
• Manage office premises maintenance including agreement, leasing, usage etc
• Any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned by the management

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in HR/Accountancy/Finance, ACCA, CA/CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in handling full set of accounts
• With relevant HR experience
