Key Roles/Responsibilities

• Ensure effective HR adminstration of both our local and foreign employees.
• Responsible for full HR administration of our foreign workers including work pass, dormitory, onboarding, training, repatriation and etc.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with employment laws and legislations.
• Responsible for submission of statutory returns and claims eg. NS make-up claim, paid childcare and etc.
• Liaise with government or external agencies on HR issues.
• Handle employees’ queries, grievances and discipinary issues.
• Manage business related licences and insurance.
• Prepare HR reports to management.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the Management to support the business.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Human Resource & Administration or equivalent.
• Prior HR experience and experience in management of foreign workers is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of employment legislations is an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management and development
• Knowledge and advisory of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, performance management, recruitment and rewards strategies
• Delivery of key HR projects such as performance management and promotional exercises
• Analyzing and identifying issues and providing recommendations on HR solutions.

HR Policies, Processes and Systems

• Initiate improvements to internal HR processes, systems and communications towards enhancing service experience.
• Educate People Managers and employees on policy/system changes and implications, as well as understand and gather their feedback and input.

Operational Excellence and Support on Faculty Affairs

• Engage in manpower planning and projection of faculty and work with Finance Business Partners and HODs on manpower projections, budget and costings.
• Establish clear understanding of the recruitment needs and work closely with the Shared Services team and hiring managers to hire the appropriate talent on a timely basis
• Assist in planning and implementing faculty performance appraisal exercise
• Support in the conceptualization and implementation of faculty development initiatives
• Manage onboarding and off-boarding matters
• Provide support on disciplinary or grievances matters
• Drive key employee initiatives such as awards and welfare matters
• Any other duties as assigned

Job Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the whole spectrum of human resources tasks, including recruitment, on-boarding, coaching, performance management, compensation & benefit, employee engagement and compliance initiatives. Be leading a HR/Admin team, you shall act as a business partner to provide quality HR/Admin support to optimise people, structure, policies and processes in line with business’ objectives.

• Manage monthly payroll process as well as salary reviews and bonus payments, ensuring alignment with staff work performance. Ensure compliance and timely submission of monthly CPF and Tax filings for all employees.
• Liaise and correspond with various government and statutory boards for all HR-related issues, including surveys, e-submissions, and employee statistics for government reporting.
• Oversee the full cycle of recruitment activities, lead efforts to hire and onboard new employees for vacant positions, and conduct new employee orientation.
• Lead and facilitate performance management systems for performance appraisals, annual increments, dispute handling, and talent retention
• Manage the employment exit processes and conduct exit interviews to identify the reasons behind employee separations.
• Develop employee relations practices that foster engagement, enhance morale, and provide management direction and counselling regarding policies, and procedures.
• Continuously review HR policies, procedures, and the company handbook to align with the labour legislation and future business needs, while maintaining a competitive pay and benefits structure to enhance productivity and process efficiency.
• Investigate workplace accidents and prepare reports for the insurance carriers.
• Manage the HR/Admin team to provide general support, including supplies, office equipment, and facilities maintenance
• Co-manage the maintenance of office premises maintenance including lease agreement and usage.
• Renew company insurance policies, including business risk coverage, office buildings, and employee wellness programs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management

Requirements:

• Familiar with and possesses strong knowledge of Employment Act, Singapore Labour Laws and Legislations.
• Experience in handling BIPO Human Resource Management System is preferred
• A team player with good written and verbal communication skills
