ROLE

This position is based in the Saint Laurent Singapore office, reporting directly to the General Manager of Southeast Asia and Oceania, heading up all HR disciplines for Southeast Asia and Oceania retail and corporate office.

Job Description

Finance

• Develop and implement the company’s financial policies and procedures. This includes setting the budgets, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Oversee the company’s accounting and reporting functions. This includes ensuring that financial statements are accurate and timely, and that taxes are filed correctly.

Reporting to the CEO

• Identify desired business insights; define, prioritize and align business analytics to key business deliverables.
• Lead and harmonise the manpower planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting process across all the Institutions. Monitor and implement the Manpower Planning and Budgeting systems.
• Collaborate with Institutions to define staffing norms by using modelling to determine the manpower and advise on optimal staffing requirements.
• Use advanced analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Machine Learning etc) for data collection and ensure integration with streamlined data flow to provide manpower insights to management to make informed decision.
• Ensure that manpower requisitions and staff movements are in accordance with the approved manpower budgets.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/bi-annua/annual manpower reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with Group Finance and Institutions to consolidate the Institutions’ manpower budget, manpower planning parameters and staffing level at Group level.
• Explore and implement manpower planning budget and intercompany billing systems to streamline processes.

• Minimum of a good bachelor’s degree, with expertise in data analysis, statistics, programming (phython, machine learning and domain knowledge to extract insights and knowledge from data.

The Role:

Reporting to the Global Chief People Officer, based in London, and CEO APAC based in Singapore, the HR Director APAC will partner the region’s leadership and country MD team to deliver a regional people strategy that aligns with current and future business objectives, and supports the global people strategy and HR initiatives.
