Job Summary:

The intern of 6 months is largely expected to work in an office environment from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm on weekdays and may also be required to travel out of the office for meetings. On occasions, the jobholder may need to work outside official hours on weekends to support the running of events.

Learning Objectives & Outcomes

• To communicate, liaise and manage internal and external stakeholders comfortably;

• To familiarise with the hiring processes, including the coordination with the candidates and schedule interviews; the onboarding process and resignation process;
• To coordinate with vendor(s) and/or service provider(s) for any HR related activities in MENDAKI;
• To work with the Learning & Development team to collate the organisation’s training needs, update and maintain the training directory and learning records of staff;
• To work with the Learning & Development team to source for vendor(s) and/or training provider(s) for the organisation’s training programmes and to submit recommendations to the Assistant Director, Human Resource;
• To work with the Learning & Development team to collate survey findings from employee engagement surveys and coordinate the logistics for engagement sessions.
• To call for nominations for the monthly Best Employee Award (BEM), collate the nominations received for the SEO to present to the Management team for deliberations.

• Students pursuing a Diploma in Human Resources.

About the role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and driven HR Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This role will support the HR Manager  across various HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to document management and event planning. You will play a key role in keeping our processes organised and ensuring our values are embedded in every aspect of our work

Mission: To provide reliable and proactive support to the HR team, managing administrative and recruitment tasks while championing our company culture

Outcomes: 

1. Efficient Recruitment Support - Assist in posting job advertisements across relevant job boards within 24 hours of receiving the request, contributing to a streamlined end-to-end recruitment process. Complete all candidate coordination tasks within the stipulated timeline, with feedback from hiring managers indicating 90% satisfaction in support responsiveness.
2. Campus Recruitment Coordination - Support campus recruitment by assisting the HR Manager in building and maintaining relationships with at least three educational institutions, and prepare for two career fairs within the year. Track candidate engagement in the recruitment system with 100% accuracy for future follow-up
3. Office Environment Support - Assist in achieving a welcoming and well-stocked office environment by ensuring pantry supplies are checked and restocked weekly, managing vendor communication (cleaning, aircon servicing, etc.) with zero missed service schedules, and updating the HR Manager on any office issues for prompt resolution.
4. Intern Engagement - Collaborate with the HR Manager to develop and implement engagement initiatives that foster a positive experience for interns across departments. Organise at least one intern-focused events per quarter and coordinate team-building activities, ensuring a 90% participation rate and positive feedback
5. Social Media Support - Support HR branding and recruitment efforts on social media by assisting with the creation of engaging content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. Develop at least one creative content idea per week that showcases company culture and engages potential candidates. Track engagement metrics and share performance insights with the HR Manager monthly.

To do this, you will have:

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong passion for HR and people management, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.

Requirements:

Join our dynamic and growing team as a Finance Intern, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting key initiatives in finance and gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Recruitment Activities, including Campus Recruitment:

·       Coordinate and participate in campus recruitment events and career fairs

·       Assist in the planning and execution of on-campus and virtual recruitment events

·       Support the design of engaging materials for recruitment purposes.

·       Assist in maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate records.

·       Contribute to the creation and improvement of recruitment processes and documentation.

Coordinate Internal Training Activities

·       Assist in organizing and coordinating internal training programs and workshops.

·       Help track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Facilitate Employee Wellness Activities:

·       Contribute to the planning and execution of employee wellness initiatives and engagement programs.

·       Assist in organizing events and activities that promote a positive and healthy workplace culture.

·       Collaborate with the HR team to measure employee engagement and gather insights for enhancing workplace satisfaction.

Skills & Requirements:
