Overview:
Oversee all entertainment-related activities within Universal Studios Singapore and Adventure Cove Waterpark, ensuring that all experiences align with the vision and brand. This role involves strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to create memorable experiences for guests, while managing budgets and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement the entertainment strategy in line with the overall goals of the business.
· Oversee the daily operations of all entertainment offerings, including shows, parades, character experiences, and seasonal events.
· Work closely with various business units and departments to create integrated entertainment experiences.
· Lead the development and execution of entertainment projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
· Ensure that all entertainment operations are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
· Lead and mentor a diverse team of entertainment professionals, including performers, stage managers, creative costuming personnel, and support staff.
· Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages creativity and high performance.
· Develop and manage the entertainment budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
· Ensure all entertainment activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
Requirements:
· Diploma or Degree in a related discipline such as Entertainment Management, Theatre, Theme Parks, Television or Events.
· At least 8 years of relevant experience in Theatre, Events or Themed Entertainment Producing and Management.
· Experience in managing large teams and handling multiple large budgets.
· Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of successful project management.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse teams.
· Creative mindset with a passion for guest experience and entertainment.
· Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
· Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in theme park entertainment.
· In tune with industry trends and technologies, and able to envision and implement new solutions to enhance entertainment offerings.
· Strong network of entertainment partners and event organisers.
· Strong entertainment project management skills, and some knowledge of technical production, development and design.
· Ability to manage commercial and creative entertainment aspects with prevailing resources.
· Strong people skills and the ability to work well with stakeholders at all levels.
· Good spoken and written communications skills.
· Resilient, adaptable and able to work through issues and provide solutions in a challenging and fast paced environment.
