Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably with environmental science or engineering background)
• Familiar with water quality measurements and marine environment data
• Must be physically fit and able to work in the field and on boats
• Should be able to multitask and manage tight timelines
• Independent and self-motivated, and organised with attention to detail
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, that are essential for communication of findings in scientific and other media
• Team player able to work closely with a multidisciplinary project team including engineers and IT specialists
• Preferably able to SCUBA dive, with PADI Rescue level (or equivalent) and above certification
• Preferably familiar with Singapore’s marine environment

Job Description:

• Manage the finance department’s operations, financial transactions, and accounting for the Singapore Group, which includes subsidiaries in China, Vietnam, and the USA.
• Ensure compliance with established financial SOPs and workflow processes.
• Maintain high standards for financial transactions, reporting, business processes, and accounting policies to support and enhance internal controls.
• Review local and subsidiary management accounts and prepare monthly consolidated financial reports, comparing them against budgets.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure timely reporting and review of shipments, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Coordinate with service providers in all regions to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including audit, tax, corporate secretarial, legal, HR, and accounting matters.
• Perform user acceptance testing, system migration, and implementation for transitioning to new accounting software.
• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
• Monitor the Group's daily cash flow.
• Review payroll of subsidiaries.
• Review payment requests, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Review journal entries.
• Assess employee claims and reimbursements.
• Perform any other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
• At least six years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in reading, typing, and communicating in Mandarin.
• Experience with NetSuite Oracle or QuickBooks is a strong advantage.
• Ability to adapt to new processes and systems.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities

Job summary: Manage the company’s Cloud hosting, applications provisioning and fine-tuning to achieve high system up-time and good performance with well secured network.

Responsibilities:

• Implement CI/CD workflow on new docker based environment
• Manage Oracle OCI cloud design architecture that aligns with organisation goals - (Oracle/AZURE preferred)
• Ensure effective server governance and compliance with industry standards and corporate policies
• Manage vendors to optimise ROI (return of Investments)
• Executing cost-effective solutions by leveraging new technologies, sourcing opportunities & benefits
• Engage the Applications team on system improvements and perform housekeeping tasks
• Provide regional IT support and Deployment to agents and subsidiaries or branch offices
• Co-ordinate with branches to conform to corporate standard and policy
• Provide quick resolution and improve productivity at branch offices through support from Regional IT Offices
• Lead, guide and manage team and business stakeholders to foster a collaborative work environment
• Seek continuous improvements by developing policy/process and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gain trust/confidence on delivery
• Establish structured and well-defined policy/process to ensure full compliance

Job Requirements

• Possess IT professional background with application knowledge, proven leadership and technical skills (i.e., at least 15 years experience).
• Oracle or Azure cloud architect certification or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Studies or Electronic Engineering or equivalent

Job Scope:

a) Perform customer facing tasks such as answering and directing phone calls, providing information and services and attending to walk- in enquries/ requests from students, visitors, parents and suppliers in the General Office (this include going to the classrooms to bring the pupils down to the General Office or vice versa);

b) Manage lost and found items;

c) Managing sickbay records and taking care of medically unwell students, providing basic first aid to injured students, liaising with students and their parents/guardians;

d) Manage delivery of items (such as label the items, updating records, bring the delivery man to the storage place, follow up with items e.g. delivery orders);

e) Perform simple administrative and office work (e.g. prepare/verify information/documents, scanning/ faxing/ photocopy/ laminiating documents, managing records); and

f) Assist teachers in prepare teaching materials.

Contract Duration: 1 Jan 2025 - 30 Nov 2025

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm

• Fridays: 7:30am to 4:00pm

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Location: Serangoon

Salary: $2600/Month

Job Requirements:
