We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The Kitchen Assistant will support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, preparing ingredients, and ensuring the smooth running of food preparation. This role is vital to ensure that the kitchen runs efficiently and meets high food safety and hygiene standards.

• Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning food items.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning workstations, and ensuring equipment is sanitized.
• Assisting in Cooking: Support chefs in basic cooking tasks, such as preparing salads, sauces, and garnishes.
• Inventory Management: Help in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries, ensuring that all stock is properly organized and rotated.
• Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food hygiene standards (e.g., washing hands, wearing protective gear, and handling food safely).
• Team Support: Provide assistance to the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation and service.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience as a kitchen assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and handle the physical demands of kitchen work.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure all tasks are completed with precision and attention to hygiene and cleanliness.
• Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Cooking Knowledge: A good understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist the Teachers to provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games and story telling

· Assist to establish routines, provide positive guidance and build children’s esteem

Job Requirements:

· Min. NITEC in any field or equivalent certification

· Have a passion for educating young children

· PCIC/HCIC equivalent certification will be an added advantage

Overview*

The candidate will support innovation and technology projects under ARCHIVE and Healthcare Redesign. He/She will be working on projects applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) to develop advanced tools for speech therapy. This role involves collaboration with a dynamic team of researchers from NUS School of Computing and clinical experts to design, develop, and evaluate AI-driven models and applications aimed at enhancing speech therapy delivery process.

Job Responsibilities*

You will be responsible for the following:

1. Organize existing relevant speech datasets as well as newly collected speech datasets

2. Write python scripts for data loading, training speech recognition models and inference

3. Develop a web interface for real-time access of the trained model

4. Participate in testing and validation of developed technologies in clinical settings to ensure efficacy and safety

5. Contribute to writing scientific papers, report and grant proposals.

6. Support project team in daily administrative tasks and project management and project management activities.

Requirements*

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proficient in neural networks frameworks such as pytorch
• Preferably experienced in automatic speech recognition topics
• Speech or Audio research experience, with publication submissions for relevant conferences such as ICASSP or Interspeech.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Prior exposure to or interest in healthcare and clinical applications is highly desirable

Job scope:

• Ensure the prompt and precise processing of invoices and expense reports.
• Perform reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Generate and manage financial reports and documentation.
• Support the month-end closing process.
• Contribute to the preparation and tracking of budgets.
• Offer assistance to the finance team whenever required
