Drive further development of PLC / programmable controller offer within the scope of product maintenance (analogue and digital circuit technology as well as power electronic circuit components)

• · Preparation and provision of data as a basis for the decision of the Board of change committee (BoC) regarding technical feasibility, risks and an effort estimation
• · Fault analysis on electrical assemblies
• · Selection of suitable replacement parts for obsolete or no available electronic components
• · Circuit diagram creation/modification with ECAD tools
• · Definition of procedures and test descriptions or definition of acceptance criteria for verification tests
• · Specify, plan, carry out and document test and verification at component, function and device level
• · Internal communication/ coordination with mechanical design, PCB layout, quality department, purchasing and industrialization
• · Creation or updating of development documentation
• · Participation in national and international project and team meetings

What qualifications will make you successful?

• · Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering.
• · 5 years of experience in Hardware Design.
• · Deep knowledge in digital Electronic Design including highspeed constraints
• · Knowledge and experience in Cadence, Allegro
• · Analytical approach to identifying the causes of errors
• · Customer oriented and business focused

Your profile

• · Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• · 1-2 years’ experience in design and development of verification tests in an R&D setup
• · Understanding of fieldbus protocols such as EtherNet/IP, OPCUA, Serial Line, Modbus
• · Aware of at least one of the IEC61131-3 programming languages (Structured Text, Ladder Logic, Function Block etc.)
• · Analytical skills to investigate customer issues with systematic troubleshooting skills
• · Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams in multi-cultural environment.
