Under the supervision of the Regional Finance Director PCD TR APAC, you will be a key business partner in understanding and analyzing the complex yet fascinating and growing Travel Retail business of the APAC region. As part of the Finance Team, you will have a significant role into defining the PCD TR APAC financial equation through the different forecast exercises and closings, participating in making sure the financial operations run smoothly at the right level of data quality. Also, you will be a key contributor in various optimization and revamping projects of our financial processes. The position is based in Singapore and your main stakeholders will be the accounting teams and operational Teams of the different areas.

YOUR MISSION_________

• Running controlling & financial operations: To be Actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the department and therefore of the whole region. This includes making sure our expenses are booked at the right level of expectation, on a timely manner following the right phasing and proper affectation within our financials.
• Analysis & reporting: Partnering with the different stakeholders to analyze the gaps and inconsistencies that may arise from those bookings vs our expectation and report back to the business / management with necessary recommendations or alerts.
• On the regulatory side, to ensure the actuals are aligned with accounting standards, respecting regional, central and internal control guidelines. To conduct in-depth financial analysis when required, providing insights to the Management. To build-up and sustain a reporting environment that allows the stakeholders to access their key financials data and a seamless manner.
• Continuous improvement: To be proactive into identifying, proposing to Management and coordinating improvement of our financial processes at local or regional level. To be a key coordinator / contributor toward central initiatives that are aiming at improving our financial processes and information workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform AML monitoring/review on Trade post-transaction files.
• Review/investigate Trade manual screening alerts and red flag escalated by trade processing team for potential sanction violations in accordance with SMBC policies.
• Ensure that review and investigation conclusions are adequately and properly documented for regulatory/audit level review.
• Coordinate and/or prepare the required management information reporting data as applicable.
• Perform daily batch name screening alert clearance.
• Investigate and report discrepancies and irregularities arising from transactions, system failure, etc and resolve issues including handling stakeholder’s complaints and escalating all issues to Team Lead / Deputy Group Head / Group Head promptly.
• Prepare reports that summarize team activities and quality metrics.
• Collaborate to improve workflow, suggest enhancements, and support the implementation of improvement actions.
• Other tasks as assigned by Group Head / Team Lead.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking industry with exposure to AML Screening and/or Trade AML
• Able to link diverse information to build a full picture and spot inconsistencies
• Possesses knowledge of MAS regulation on AML and Sanctions requirements including KYC, Screening.
• Strong team player
• Good communications skills, hands on, independent and proactive in carrying out investigation on customers and/or transactions. Able to work with front office and operation team.

Job Description:

The IT Business Partner (ITBP) will act as the Strategic Partner for all related CS matters and projects, e.g., SFDC sales cloud including PCube, ChatBot, VRA, Dashboards, as well as, serving proactively as a trusted advisor and the single point of contact for the Business, in particular CS.

You will provide operational leadership and execution on our customer post sales experience strategy whilst creating seamless omni-channel experiences to drive adoption from It CS solutions implemented. You will also support the establishment of Digital Analytics capability and lead digital analytics projects to deliver the organization’s business objectives, related to CS activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders, co-create technology-enabled business strategies to enhance the digital experience.
• Provide strategic input and transformation roadmap to corporate digital/IT strategy.
• Orchestrate respective stakeholders within IT to provide identified solutions and services.
• Responsible for story writing, defining customer journeys, digital analytics and business value including recommendations to challenge status quo to deliver business value such as drive conversion, top line revenue, user experience, measurement and tracking of business value (KPIs, ROI).
• Take lead in owning, defining, and tracking value cases for IT CS investments.

Job Requirement:

• Business Degree in Technology with 3-5 years of IT Business Partnership.
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in related field with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments digitalization and business segments.
• Experience in post-sales best practices.
• Hands on experience working as a Business Analyst and Project Manager in CRM projects; passion for digital customer channels and analytics.
• Good understanding on IT standards and CRM best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and presentation skills including the ability to influence business teams.
• Work independently, takes ownership of problems within own area of knowledge and accountable for the quality of own work.
• Highly motivated in problem-solving with strong investigative skills.

• Evaluate existing BAU process and identify areas that need improvement and propose options as solutions
• Familiarity with Risk data and good knowledge of data discovery and lineage between data tables in ADA will be a plus

• Maintains all required documentation related to data flow, the design and process changes to a high standard for audit readiness 
• Adept at juggling between tight timelines, limited resources, and multiple deliverables. Able to anticipate needs and problems to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects and initiatives
• Participate in various workshops from BU initiatives

• Contribute to projects / initiatives, starting from Requirements Gathering, Design, Solutioning, Functional Specs review to User Acceptance Testing and Live Verification. 
• Must have good working hands-on experience in data querying (SQL and such) and handling of data schemas and data wrangling. 
• Works in close collaboration with various Workstreams, UX Designer and Tech counterparts to elicit business requirements, supports the design and conceptualization of new requirements and visualisation, analyse all possible scenarios, and articulates impacts and risks, as identified, ensure consistent use and implementation of processes.
• Review requirements to ensure alignment to design principles and information architecture.
• Attend to user stories/requirements and work with Tech partners on solutioning and implementation based on prioritisation.
• Join regular scrum meetings and user stories grooming sessions to ensure that enhancements are delivered accordance to business requirements/solutions and is within budget and timelines.
• Review solution proposal from Tech team and provide effective challenge and counter proposal
• Bilingual with proficiency in Mandarin preferred to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.
