Core purpose of the role: This position will play a pivotal role in the operations team for all HR related matters. The individual will be responsible for all aspects of HR from recruitment, onboarding/ off boarding processes, claims, training and development, as well as staff engagement and welfare of the employees.

Job scopes:

Recruitment and On-boarding

• Determine and use the appropriate sourcing channel (including Jobs Bank, LinkedIn, job portals, recruitment agencies and internal applications)
• Coordinate the recruitment process, including but not limited to understanding job specifications, posting advertisements, pre-screening of candidate’s applications according to specifications, submitting qualified applications to the hiring managers and tracking application progress to position close
• Conduct interviews

• Manage end-to-end on-boarding activities including but not limited to accounts creation, IT related email and access, induction packs

HR Operations

• Provide prompt update and accurate maintenance of employee database and personnel files
• Support in providing inputs to update HR reports, budget report, internal HR working templates, external statutory/labour market survey and headcount related reporting
• Monitor employees' work pass / MOM employment pass compliance
• Monitor probationary period, etc
• Review and update Employee Handbooks and Business Conduct Guidelines
• Maintain organisation charts and prepare monthly HR reports
• Support in the update of HR policies, processes and procedures

Performance Management

• Support the full suite of annual performance review cycle (communications to staff, creation of online forms and provide updates on completion rates and analytics)
• Work closely with business leaders to ensure the performance management exercises are properly executed and completed on time

Pay Review

• Support the annual pay review process
• Creation of excel spreadsheets for management input and analytics to update data on performance excel spreadsheets
• Participate in C&B surveys and benchmark with various key companies in similar industry

Employee Relations

• Support to business leaders in all employee relations matters
• Provide HR policies guidance and interpretation to employees
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues and counsel staff

Offboarding

• Coordinate exit process: payroll, employee records, exit interviews

Payroll & Benefits Administration

• Manage and execute regular benefits administrations
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of CPF, government-claim submissions (Maternity, Paternity, Childcare and NS claims), income tax (IR8A and IR21) matters
• Maintain accuracy and update movements in company insurance policy

Employee Engagement

• Plan and execute internal employee engagement activities such as dialogues, and corporate staff engagement events.

Learning & Development

• Conduct training needs analysis for business units and employees.
• Source for external vendors, coordinate course registration and training grant applications
• Evaluate and monitor training programs and budgets

Ad Hoc Projects

• Drive and implement process improvements to increase HR efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience:

The role

• Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business, strategies, markets, competitive landscape and develop a One-LR key account strategy for the nominate client(s), including a named account team with clear delivery objectives and accountabilities.

• Build, maintain and communicate a Strategic Key Account plan, including a strategic vision (3-5 years) and short and medium delivery objectives aligned with global strategy, anchored with a cross functional delivery team and clear KPIs and metrics.
• Identify new business opportunities and lead the collaboration effort with internal stakeholders to identify and realise cross-stream business opportunities ensuring LR is best placed to win.

• Monitor, report on, upload to SFL and disseminate as appropriate all client meetings and visits as well as all aspects of competitor activity for client and general client activity. Understand the analysed patterns of client meetings and develop strategies to act on them.
• Leverage and incorporate the insights provided by the Insight and Segment teams to improve understanding of the market context, the strategic context and the changing landscape which may affect key account objectives positively or negatively.

What you bring

· Significant knowledge and understanding of business strategy and goal setting and implementation.

· Experience of seafaring or ship-management (ant ship type) is highly preferred

· Previous experience in a Classification Society on a Commercial Role is considered an advantage

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting, Learning Management (LMS), and Performance Management & Goals Management (PM/GM) is required.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (Core) is highly preferred.
• Previous experience with SAP HCM Organization Management and Personnel Administration (OM/PA) is preferred.
• In depth knowledge of several HR business functions required.
• Previous involvement in the deployment or optimization of an ERP system is a plus.
• Previous involvement in the deployment or optimization of an HRIS system is a plus.
• Experience with test management and automation tools is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Programme Innovation: Analyze industry trends and develop competitive, innovative programme offerings.
• Feedback and Strategy: Provide market feedback to enhance strategic planning and increase programme relevance.

Qualifications

• A good university degree with at least 10 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, and partner engagement, with strong sectoral knowledge.
• Expertise in developing corporate executive education programmes and establishing multi-year engagements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with digital products/services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be a part of the dynamic international team facilitating business development for energy solutions
• Conduct market research and analysis to assess industry trends and competitive landscapes
• Lead the preparation of sales proposals and tender interviews
• Stimulating sales growth by creating relationships with new and existing customers
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure steady flow of potential business
• Work closely with the structured finance team and review Financial Model throughout the project financing process
• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies
• Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Manage relationships with clients, vendors and contractors to originate leads
• Lead Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and EPC contract negotiations

Requirements

• Master/Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent
• Min 3 years experience in the energy transition
• Passionate about renewables industry
