· Prepare Standard Quotation Forms for Cost Estimation in line with tender scope/summary

· Assist BD in preparation and submission of tender documents (e.g. Fill-in Tender Forms, Contractors particulars & Technical Data (Upon receipt from PICs) as per Tender Format

· Prepare Hard Copy/Soft Copy of Bid with necessary supporting documents as per submission requirement as instructed by BD

Job Scope:

1. Prepare teaching resources for Science lessons, EE/LLP level programmes, E2K enrichment classes, i.e., packing of materials needed for experiments, setting up of, clearing away and cleaning of experimental set-ups and /or demonstration apparatus as instructed by the Level Reps and Science teachers;

2. Prepare resources for the conduct of Science Practical Tests and maintain examination integrity;

3. Ensure the maintenance (daily cleanliness and upkeep) and safety requirements of the following Special Rooms / Spaces under the Science Department;

- Science Rooms

- Maker Studio(s)

- Learning spaces (e.g. EE Hub, Outdoor Experiential Learning spaces such as the Ecogarden, Rainwater Harvest system, Aquaponics/hydrophonics system, Butterfly Garden, Gardening areas, etc)

- Maintaining a safe and tidy lab environment

- Maintain laboratory equipment, apparatus, PPE, materials and specimens in good working condition.

- Support Science/Maker-related CCAs on CCA days from 7:30am to 9:00am;

During School Holidays:

- front desk duties (e.g. handling calls in general office, attending to students)

- filing and organising documents

- packing of items

- assisting ESOs

- administration tasks assigned by the Vice-Principal / Admin Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimal 3 years’ experience working in school’s science room/ science lab, or similar working environment

• At least 2 year’ experience of preparing SPARKLES kit for P3 teachers

• Good communication skills, in dealing with teachers and children aged 6-12

• Knowledgeable in preparing First Aid materials

• Possess knowledge in Microsoft Word and excel

• Experience in tracking, managing computing hardware using simple inventory system

• Preferably 3 years or more experience in carrying out front office duties such as answering phone calls, attending to students

Working Arrangement:

(a) During term time, Working hours: 7:00am to 4:15pm on Mondays to Fridays (excluding *45min lunch break).

Job Description:

Food Preparation - Assist in preparing and assembling ingredients for lessons, following instructions and recipes given by teachers.

Food Handling - Ensure proper food safety and-sanitation standards are always maintained. This includes handling, storing, and disposing of food safely.

Cleaning and Maintenance - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Clean and sanitize the floor, countertops, stovetops, and kitchen appliances regularly.

Stock Management - Assist in keeping track of inventory, including food items, cleaning supplies, and kitchen equipment. Notify the teachers when items need to be replenished.

Preparation/Office Room Area Support - Help with upkeeping and cleaning of the room, including clearing of dustbins, dusting of surfaces, mopping of floor as well as ensuring a tidy environment for teachers.

Waste Disposal - Properly dispose of food waste, recyclables, and other kitchen-related trash following established procedures and regulations.

Compliance - Adhere to health and safety regulations and school policies in the kitchen. Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to the teachers.

Support with School Activities - Collaborate with staff, teachers, and other school personnel to assist in the coordination and execution of school events or activities that reauire the use of the kitchen and eauioment. This mav involve setting up for special events, providing food service during functions, and ensuring that the kitchen and dining areas are well-prepared for such occasions.
