Job Description

• To assist the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager to supervise and coordinate the daily front desk operations.
• To be proactive thinking, to be able to react fast to problems, and to make sound management decisions.
• Able to show responsibility and make decisions to handle any operations issues that may arise in the absence of the management.
• To welcome and bid farewell to all VIP guests.
• To develop and maintain close business contacts with house guests and provide personalized service whenever possible.
• To handle complaints or incidents/accidents occurring in the hotel when necessary.
• Record all complaints into logbook for management and all departments' attention or follow up.
• Respond to emergency calls, fire alarm, power failure, computer and medical attention and coordinate with respective departments and contacts.
• Be familiar with and ensure that all preparations for VIP and group arrivals and departures are well organized.

Overview:

This role involves a variety of responsibilities including the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment for events, providing support to staff and students, assisting in ICT/AV planning and procurement, and managing media post-production tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth AV operations for events and supporting the school’s ICT/AV needs.

Responsibilities:

AV Operations & Event Support

• Set up and operate AV equipment (lighting, audio, video) for events.
• Provide technical support, including stage management and live streaming.
• Assist with video recording and supervise students involved in AV tasks.

ICT/AV Resource Management

• Manage and maintain ICT/AV equipment, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs.
• Assist in procurement, planning, and coordination of AV solutions and vendor liaison.

Media Post-Production

• Edit videos and audio to create polished content, including adding titles and sound effects.

Requirements: At least 1 year experience in setup and manage of professional AV system.

• At least 1 year experience in setup and manage of video system.
• At least 1 year experience in multimedia content editing.
• At least 1 qualification in one of the fields; professional lightings system, professional audio system, video system or multimedia content editing.
