Job Description:

• Responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation of all areas of the Food and Beverage Department, including the bar, restaurant and conference space
• Drive guest satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service, strong relationships and attention to detail in all areas of the operation
• Evaluate changes in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set in order to recommend and action appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary
• Ensure that brand standards, including sustainability initiatives, are maintained
• Hire, train and develop the department’s team members, and ensure employee satisfaction through effective, positive and proactive leadership
• Coordinate and communicate with all other departments as required to ensure smooth operations, high levels of guest and employee satisfaction and the most effective use of resources
• Take a proactive and innovative approach to operations in order to maintain market competitiveness and exceptional financial performance
• Work with marketing team to develop creative and effective promotions and to drive their implementation in a timely manner
• Develop beverage menus for all areas and work with the executive chef to develop dining menus
• Develop and administer the F&B budget, action plan and promotional activities of the department to stimulate sales and profit while controlling operating expenses
• Prepare monthly forecasts for restaurant, room service and bar, review daily and monthly financial result and take any required actions

Team Summary

The Solutions team in Visa Direct is responsible for Discovery & Implementation of New customers whilst helping existing clients on upsell/upgrade projects. This means working closely with Business teams to fully understand client requirements, then craft and validate the proposed solutions prior to signing. Once approved, delivering on the agreed solution and managing changes that may occur.

What a Solutions Consultant does at Visa:

• Ensuring client requirements is captured and a full understanding of the proposed solution / workflow before a client is signed,
• Consulting and guiding prospects and client on how to best use and ingest our products and services into their operational workflows and solutions, tailoring each proposed solution according to the client’s strategic and go-to market plans,
• Troubleshoot issues by developing a deep understanding of how our product works,
• Guiding clients to implement Visa offerings into their system and ensuring changes in workflow are understood internally and externally,
• Test environment configuration, setup and liaise with internal/external stakeholders to facilitate implementation processes.
• Advocating for client’s views internally and driving continuous product improvements based on client feedback.
• Enabling Sales Consultants and peers with product / technical knowledge, providing coaching for junior members of the team on product capabilities and customer onboarding requirements
• Contributing and managing support documents to ensure they’re clear and accurate, and research and write new content to fill any gaps,
• Keeping abreast of our competition, product development, and changes to the ecosystem.

This role is based out of Singapore Hub and supports Asia Pacific markets. The role will report to Director, Commercialisation and Solutioning APAC for Visa Direct Solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

• Manage and support the Passenger Relations and Porter teams, ensuring smooth daily department operations.
• Champion and promote the Heartist Culture within the PRO and Porter departments.
• Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of team members, with a focus on grooming, training, and fostering teamwork.
• Ensure team members are well-versed in lounge services and the airport layout.
• Develop and implement Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) to ensure uninterrupted lounge operations during crises.
• Contribute to projects focused on enhancing service delivery, IT systems, and lounge infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Talent & Culture on recruitment, selection, and performance management processes.
• Maintain strong communication and collaborative relationships with all operating departments.
