Job Description - Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and information support on applications to customers via email, messaging, telephone, and on-site when necessary.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, including writing fundamental SQL scripts, on reported issues.
• Escalate technical issues to relevant parties and follow through diligently until resolution.
• Monitor ongoing batch jobs to ensure successful execution without failure.
• Provide monthly reports.
• Perform SIT Testing, UAT Testing of Service Requests and reported defects.
• Ensure timely delivery of development work with quality, meeting internal and external customer expectations.
• Update relevant documents on all executed changes in a timely manner.
• Oversee, update, and follow up on the defect tracking list until all issues are resolved.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project targets and quality objectives.
• Interact effectively with customers from different departments.
• Conduct business process analysis and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, specifications, and user manuals.
• Assist in implementing IT solutions to meet business needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE O/N Level, ITE, or Diploma in a related discipline.
• Preferably with 3 years of IT-related experience.
• Experience using SQL query tools is preferred.
• Excellent English writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude towards meeting new challenges.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Finance Analyst, Controlling, is responsible to ensure full business/reporting compliance and to ensure monthly reporting is accurate and timely to all stakeholders; to develop financial reporting to support the business and to manage budgeting and forecasting processes as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. A special focus will be on handling government related grants.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Manage and document government grants and subsidies, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements.
• Analyze the financial impact of subsidized projects and prepare forecasts to optimize the financial impact.
• Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, such as management and government authorities.
• Support the application process for new grants and monitor the status of applications.
• Prepare for external audits related to the use of subsidies to demonstrate compliance with all requirements.
• Perform analysis on financial information regarding grants and on a company-wide level.
• Participate in budget and regular forecast process in relation to government subsidies and project controlling.
• Participate in month- and year-end closing activities.
• Continuously identify areas of improvement, exploring opportunities to simplify and optimize business processes, eliminate non-value-added activities in the department and propose mitigations on identified risks.
• Other duties as directed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• BA in Accountancy or Business Administration, alternatively an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial principles and procedures.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling, ideally within a Corporate environment.
• Experience managing government grants, subsidies, or similar funding programs, including application processes, tracking, and compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) as well as Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience in preparing detailed financial reports, analysis, and documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Description

• Experienced in working in a Security Command Centre outfit or establishment for at least 2 years.

• Perform monitoring, analysis, and escalation of real-time operation events.

• Monitor attendance records of on ground officers and provide detailed reports to management.

• Maintain 24-hour communication with all sites and with all supervisors and managers.

• Monitor and managing of remote access control points and basic administration of clearance for persons/ vehicles

• Monitoring of various alarm alerts, activation of response team and prepare reports upon completion of operation.

• Monitor of video analytics CCTV and response in accordance with procedures.

• Perform inbound and outbound calls, whilst maintaining and ensuring customer service.

• Managing and resolving client’s enquiries

• Recording and logging of all daily occurrences

• Any other duties/jobs assigned by the Command Centre Operations Manager.

• Able to speak and write fluent English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Emails (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Able to perform 12-hour work shift including weekends or Public Holiday (depend on roster)

• Manage deployment of ground officers to sites to meet contractual requirements
