The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for performing individual internal audit projects, as part of the Audit Master Plan. These responsibilities include developing internal audit plans, scopes, and audit work programs, performing internal audit procedures, preparing internal audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed, and providing sound, practical, and innovative audit recommendations designed to add value and improve the organization’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

• The role would be based in Singapore. The scope of work would entail regional involvement for all the entities under the group classified under Cluster B (Singapore, Malaysia & China) with a direct reporting line to the Cluster B Group Internal Audit Manager
• Conduct end-to-end walkthroughs to identify risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities covering the organization’s control environment and operational processes
• Following the Group Internal Audit Methodology as a guide, design and execute testing plans to assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls
• Conduct remediation testing or follow-up audits to ensure remediation plans for ineffective controls are fully implemented and control deficiencies are properly remediated
• Ensure that audit working papers, testing results, and documentation of findings or observations are accurate, complete, and properly stored and secured
• Prepare accurate, objective, clear, concise, constructive, complete, and timely audit reports and, upon review and approval by the immediate superior, communicate the results thereof to the appropriate parties
• Establish and maintain a system to monitor the disposition of results communicated to management
• Establish a follow-up process to monitor and ensure that management actions have been effectively implemented or that management has accepted the risk of not taking action
• Participate in internal control projects covering all operations where necessary for the Food Group
• Take part in special investigations where necessary and report to the Audit Committee with the highest level of confidentiality
• Manage the outsource and co-source parties in completing the assignments when needed
• Plan effectively to deal with varying office locations and time zones including travel time as the nature of the job requires frequent travel to maximize output

Primary Objective:

• Perform functional audit of RHB Asset Management and other Singapore entities in order to ensure:-
• Soundness and adequacy of governance, risk management and internal control system (with a focus on Asset Management but should be comfortable with all auditable areas of a bank)
• Compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements as well as internal policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute risk based audit assignments within the approved audit plan and budget, which include:-
• Proper documentation of audit works with adequate supporting documents;
• Draft audit findings to highlight internal control weaknesses, irregularities, inefficiencies and non-compliances as well as recommendations to enhance existing control system and remedial action
• Attend audit exit discussion with respective Head of BG/FG/BA/FA to discuss audit issues and recommendations and subsequently draft the audit reports; and
• Follow-up and tracking resolution status of outstanding audit issues.
• Maintain Audit Program and ensure continuous review of audit approach by taking cognizance of changes effecting the operations and to ensure that the audit methodology is comprehensive and up to date.
• Participate in project review, meetings and other audit assignments when required by Section Head or Head of Internal Audit
• Attend and witness the opening and closing of tenders called by the Management as and when required

The Senior QA Specialist will lead and support day-to-day Quality Assurance activities in accordance with approved SOPs / Policies for multi-product s and also provides QA support for Audit Management.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor day-to-day Quality Assurance activities in accordance with approved SOPs / Policies for a large scale, multi-product, and GMP biotech contract manufacturing facility.

• Highly motivated individual and have superior skills in all areas relevant to the job.

• Member of cross-functional site team(s) on projects/ issues.

• Lead in complex deviation investigations, change controls, CAPA proposals and closure of discrepancy reports.

• Superior ability to troubleshoot.

• A competent Reviewer and Approver of SOPs, protocols, reports or records.

• Able to coordinate between departments for multiple parallel activities.

• Understanding of advanced topics pertaining to cGMP.

• Participate in Customer / Agency Audits and Inspections as required.

• Identify process pathways and work to develop improvements in strategy.

• Help/Transfer and quickly assimilate to leadership role in other process areas.

• Assume Supervisory responsibility in absence of supervisor

• Understands and articulates company business strategy. Maintains a broad view of the

  business, recognize changes and trends in the appropriate area in which the individual

  operates.

Requirements:

• Engineering/Science Degree or higher from recognized institution with 5 to 10 years’ experience in Validation / Quality unit in the Biopharmaceutical industry

• Familiar with Regulatory requirements and local Codes & Standards (e.g., FDA, EMEA, and ICHQ7).

• Good knowledge and experience of the practical and theoretical requirement of quality management system in GMP facility
