Our client is an asset management firm with an AUM of 1.5 bill equity fund. They provide good

Responsibilities

• Capable of handling full range of fund accounting services on funds, including preparation of the Net Asset Value (NAV), cash and position reconciliation, review of corporate actions, validation of security pricing
• Able to check accuracy of fund administration services on funds and investors in compliance with the company’s service model and policies, liaising with, brokers, custodians and auditors
• Provide and maintain superior Quality of work, accuracy and adherence to task deadline.
• Participate in various system optimisation initiatives and ad-hoc projects
• Active participation in proposing solutions to complex market and settlement issues and act as liaison between custodian, administrators and trading desk with ability to multitask and prioritize resolution on priority.
• Calculate complex fees structures as set out in various agreements
• Review of periodic financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and/or US GAAP prepared by administrators and service providers.
• Review accuracy of Subscriptions and Redemptions, Switches & Transfers in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the fund offering documents performed by the transfer agent and administrator.
• Strong excel and VBA skills needed to drive automation and streamline the procedures once the business understanding is reached.
• Play active role in client on-boarding, account opening process with verification of documents sourced from different parties and to have it verified and aligned towards company’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain and remediate investor details in a centralised database and calculate trail fees based on the distributor agreements.
• Supporting the company’s anti-money laundering (AML) framework in place and working closely with various parties involved, investor, Fund admin, Transfer Agent to ensure compliance with the AML framework.
• Supporting the organization's FATCA/CRS service offering to our clients
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned work and ensure timely completion, in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, banking or finance related field
• Ideally 1 year of experience in fund administration, audit or similar role
• Intermediate to advance Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, VBA Word, Outlook).
• Understanding of securities such as equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options preferred
• Ability to work well independently as well as within a team framework.
• Be enthusiastic and eager to learn, self-starter.
• Strong work ethic with positive attitude
• Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision to meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Write specifications/stories for systems and processes as required for specific projects or the continued evolution of components, interfaces and processes for all products within the eFX business line
• Manage and deliver specific work packages and projects
• Functional testing of enhancements in collaboration with the QA team
• Assist in the selection and implementation of vendor software.
  Develop and maintain good working relations with the business (front, middle and back office, Risk, etc.).
• Work with stakeholders to prioritise and keep them updated of progress, risks and issues.

• Development through the design and maintenance of software, applications and IT systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for effective monitoring, early warning and reporting of the trading books under his/her responsibility. To communicate effectively with front and back office personnel, as well as to ensure completeness and accuracy of data in the CXL system. On a daily basis in accordance to the Company policies, to compute, monitor, analyse and report the exposure of the books, ensuring that the exposures are under the approved limits. Effective monitoring and understanding of market so as to mitigate potential risk events that the Company may encounter.
• Perform monthly closing tasks as required for the books under his/her responsibility, and provide analysis for the profit and loss position for the books. Also to assist in the drafting of various reports as requested by the Risk Management Committee.
• Perform back testing, scenario testing and stress testing on a periodic basis or when necessary. For new businesses or activities relating to the books under his/her responsibility, to perform relevant market analysis and recommend mitigating controls as necessary.
• Gather and compile daily mark to market prices and any relevant data and information for dissemination to relevant personnel and uploading of the data into CXL system. Also to perform End-of-Day operations in CXL system.
• Perform weekly gathering and compilation, analysis and reporting of market data and developments.
• Responsible for the hedging business of the account in charge, including but not limited to the review and monitoring of the hedging strategy, the evaluation of the hedging effectiveness, the accuracy and rationality of the hedging ratio calculation, the review of the monthly, quarterly and annual reports of the hedging business, and the compliance inspection etc.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Head of Risk Management.

Requirements:

• University Degree in a relevant discipline is required. Post-graduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or other numerical discipline preferred.
• High degree of IT literacy as an enabler to the quantification, measurement & reporting of trading risks & exposures.
