• Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Information Technology, Computer Science / Engineering and related qualifications.
• Minimum 10 years of management experience of which previous experience is at a senior level in IT, ideally within a customer delivery environment.
• Experience in leading delivery of business IT solutions, ideally in the travel & transportation industry is of advantage. Major account experience gained in both multinational and multi-cultural environments would be an added benefit.
• Proficient in Business/IS Strategy and planning, technical strategy and planning, service delivery, business change and relationship management.

1. Responsible to MIS Manager for IT infrastructure setup, maintenance, and operations.
2. Has Programming Proficiency in database management systems (e.g. MSSQL, Visual Basics 6.0 & Active Server Pages ASP).
3. Strong Knowledge of Information Security Protocols.
4. Experience in ERP systems for CRM Support.
5. Handle IT project and system implementation which involve gathering information designing and planning. Conduct User acceptance test and provide user training.
6. Manage and liaise with external system vendors related to MIS department when necessary.
7. Provide advice and recommendations to management on proofs and techniques for improved work operations related to customized labels direct USB printing to Seagull Bartender Printer (no Crystal Report).
8. Handle basic hardware troubleshoot, system backup and software support.
9. Assist the MIS Manager in any ad hoc activities related to the MIS department.
10. To compliance with laws and codes pertaining labor and ethics via annual training.
11. Knowledge in Network Protocol environment

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related discipline.
• Equivalent qualifications or certifications in relevant IT/ERP systems support are also considered.

Responsibility

· Provide IT support and perform initial troubleshooting or escalate to our outsourced IT specialists for complicated cases, or provide alternatives to resolves the cases.

· Support HQ and project sites regarding IT-related issues.

· Monitor and maintain in-house networks and servers.

· Manage and maintain computer hardware and software systems, Inventory, and deployment to users.

· Upgrade, install and configure new hardware and software to meet company objectives.

· Create user accounts and set up email accounts for new staff.

· Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.

· Document processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.

· Develop data retrieval and recovery procedures.

· Perform any ad-hoc assignment as instructed by superiors.

Requirements

· ITE, Diploma or Higher qualification in computer science, information technology, information systems, or related fields.

· Preferable with at least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.

· Responsible, meticulous, fast learner.
