About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Partner to join the IT team. In this strategic role, you will develop and execute IT strategies that align with the overall business objectives. You will lead and mentor a team of project managers and Technology Business Partners, driving successful project delivery while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Alignment:Develop IT strategies that support the organization's business goals.
• Team Leadership: Mentor project managers and Technology Business Partners, setting clear goals and providing necessary resources.
• Solution Management:Oversee solutions and proposals to enhance Corporate IT services.
• Project Execution: Propose innovative ideas, manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure project success.
• Governance: Maintain project work plans with controls to ensure timely and quality outcomes.
• Customer Relationships:Build and manage customer relationships to achieve mutual goals.
• Vendor Management: Engage and oversee onshore and offshore vendor resources and SLAs.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology-related field (or equivalent).
• At least 15 years of experience in technology project implementation. Relevant experience as IT Business Partner.
• Minimum of 12 years of project management experience, preferably with Microsoft solutions.
• Experience in Corporate Systems and CRM is preferred.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, client interface, and presentation skills.

· Experience working within Capital Markets as a Business Analyst.

· Experience in working in an agile environment plus a strong preference for previous Financial Services

· Practical experience and understanding of discovery and delivery projects

· Ability to create user stories, user journeys, simple wireframes and mock-ups to convey ideas

· Understanding of business process redesign concepts and process improvement techniques

· Proven stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

· Effective and flexible communication skills with the ability to communicate to a variety of audiences across business function and level and tailor messages appropriately

Some Business Experience can be beneficial, especially in:

· Front to Back Trade Processing, across various asset classes

· Regulatory Transaction Reporting

· Transformation programmes and process re-engineering

· Counterparty exposure management processes - for Stock Loan, Repo, Buy-sell backs and margin lending transactions

· Understanding of triparty and bilateral financing trades and associated counterparty risk

· Collateral and margin management tools

· Proficient in MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Project, MS-Visio & MS-PowerPoint

• Work closely with Accounting team ensure accurate monthly closing
• Prepare journals for internal cross-charging and other ad-hoc tasks.
• Prepare P/L variance analysis for internal meetings.
• Prepare/submit management reports according to the specified deadlines.
• Monitor actual collections and payments.
• Prepare presentation decks for management meetings and budget meetings.
• Other adhoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree holder with Finance related qualifications
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
