Major Duties & Responsibilities*
(A) Specific :

• Responsible for on-site / off-site / remote troubleshooting, installation and commissioning of IT related solutions.
• To provide service support and maintenance to HQ & Site Office.
• Maintain and troubleshooting Desktop / Notebook / Server / Network / Printer.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, which includes update patches, fixed asset tracking and status update.
• Maintain hardware and software inventory records for audit and asset management purposes.
• Protect the organizations value by keeping information confidential.
• Plan, develop and manage procedure for the smooth operations.
• Liaise with distributor/vendors on application and technical support.
• Prepare and update multimedia slideshow or festival E-Card.

(B) General :

• Handle and provide IT support within the Company.
• Manage and support daily operations and ad hoc requests and requirements.
• Others duties as assigned.

(C) Safety:

• Follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :

• NITEC, Diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science.
• Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

(B) Knowledge & Skills :

• Good working attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Required skill(s) : Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point.
• In-depth knowledge of hardware and software.
• Ability to quickly establish good working relationships.
• Good communication skills (Verbal and written).

(C) Experience :

• Possess at least 1 year IT helpdesk support experience.
• Experience in providing technical support on network and application issues.
• Maintain and troubleshooting Desktop / Server / Network / Printer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ICT training programs for students, ensuring skill readiness for competitions.
• Prepare lesson plans and schemes of work for ICT programs.
• Conduct training aligned with the ICT curriculum.
• Maintain and update the school website per MOE policies and standards.
• Oversee multimedia projects, including videos, photography, and graphic design.
• Collaborate with the LMS provider to support teachers in training, account setup, and content creation.
• Provide IT support services, including procurement, evaluation, and IT/AV recommendations.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Multimedia Technology, Digital Media, or Visual Communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in multimedia (web design, graphics, video production, photography).
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Strong communication skills and classroom training confidence.
• Flexibility to handle ad-hoc projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Configure and setup end user machines such as desktops and laptops.
• Provide end user support to internal colleagues.
• Diagnose IT issues and escalate to internal IT team or external vendor where necessary.
• Performs 1st tier basic IT support role to support end-users computing needs by adopting standard ITIL processes
• Keeps track/monitor end-to-end change request (CR)
• Assist infrastructure team to gather additional information from end users related to CR
• Keep track of all end-user computing software licenses, assets inventory and accessories/peripherals
• Perform data purging activities as and when requested by clients

Technical Skillset:

• Knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and desktop software
• Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
• Excellent hardware and software problem solving skills
• Ability to seek solutions to problems using one’s own resources
