ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Performance Specialist role directly impacts the success of paid digital marketing campaigns. Their contribution will drive impressive performance and growth through continuous reviewing, monitoring, reporting, and optimization of paid channels such as (but not limited to) Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, Programmatic, and LinkedIn Ads.
The role requires a savvy digital marketer with hands-on execution experience and reporting involvement in paid search and/or paid social campaigns. A tactical mindset, problem solver, results-driven, attention to detail, and team player mentality are some of the attributes that will warrant a successful and progressive career journey within Kaliber.
The role will expose the successful candidate to the global market strategies and tactics for various channels and verticals, working alongside collaborative and passionate colleagues across multiple countries. They will be allocated a reasonable set of client campaigns to manage, supported by senior colleagues such as performance managers and strategists.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Campaign Management and Execution (40%)
- Acknowledge and execute the delegated tasks from Account Managers and Performance Managers in a timely manner
- Proactively schedule and perform recurring optimizations including bid management, budget allocation, forecasting, performance monitoring, strategic testing, campaign expansion, reporting, etc.
- Prioritize conflicting tasks and actively communicate tasks progress and completion time to manage stakeholder expectations
- Perform corrective actions for performance and budget pacing
- Thoroughly review all outputs to ensure accuracy, quality, and best practice
- Assist in the onboarding of a new client when necessary
- Liaise with contractors and freelancers for support in campaign execution
Investigation & Reporting (30%)
- Proactively monitor and communicate campaign performance to immediate stakeholders
- Assess, investigate, and resolve campaign issues and poor performance
- Produce insightful reports (ad hoc and scheduled) for the allocated channels
- Initiate discussions with managers on growth strategies
- Employs analytical reasoning, data analysis, and problem-solving skills to effectively and efficiently manage campaigns
- Collaborate with the Data team to continually provide feedback to optimize client dashboards more efficiently and effectively
- Reach out to senior support immediately and proactively when across arduous issues
Client Communication & Collaboration (20%)
- Champion ideas and insights to the development of digital strategies for paid campaigns, including strategic roadmaps, media plans, experiments, and promotional campaigns
- Provide task briefs to other departments such as Creative and Data
- Effectively communicate internally and externally with direct stakeholders
- Manage select SME client relationships independently, while working closely with performance managers for oversight and support.
Team Development (10%)
- Be a mentor and cheerleader for our Newnicorns—show them the ropes, share tips and tricks, and help them level up to becoming awesome specialists
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
The minimum qualifications for this role include:
- 3-4+ years paid social and/or paid search campaign management experience ideally at an agency, ad tech provider, or client-side with over $50K per month budgets
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications for this role include:
- Proficiency in the following is an advantage: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Google Workspace Suite
- Proven experience with Project Management software (bonus points if you’re a ClickUp pro!)
- Exceptional written, spoken, and presentation skills that bring clarity and excitement to your ideas
