The MNNDL group at NUS studies the human neural bases of cognitive functions and the associated vulnerability patterns in aging and neuropsychiatric disorders using multimodal neuroimaging and psychophysical techniques. We are interested in the large-scale brain structural and functional networks in healthy developing and aging brain and symptoms-related changes in diseases such as neurodegenerative disorders and psychosis. Statistical, computational, and machine learning methods are developed to analyze and fuse multimodal neuroimaging data. Purpose of the post

What will you do?

Within the Integrated Marketing Team, the main objective of a Marketing Specialist is sales lead generation. You will achieve this goal by supporting successful marketing activities (seminars, webinars, exhibitions, product launch and others), creation of effective marketing collaterals and tools. Keep up to date with the current means for reaching target customers. You will be translating marketing requests into tangible plans and results. We support free artistic expression.

Here are the key responsibilities:

• Responsible to develop and lead full year marketing plan and budget by collaborating with product management, commercial and eCommerce teams.
• Engage with Thermo Fisher global marketing team to ensure that we are kept up-to-date with the latest tools, guidelines, and standards.
• Developing, crafting and disseminating marketing collaterals (incl. Electronic direct mail, EDM), marketing gimmicks and campaign assets for both traditional and digital marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and lead generation.
• Maintain and expand customer database.
• Coordinate physical and virtual marketing events for the company and its partners.
• Support internal communications, events, and activities.
• Upload and assign sales leads (all sources) to Salesforce.
• Conduct analysis of marketing plans (pre-campaign testing and segmentation analysis, post-campaign analysis, customer insights and others) to optimize and improve marketing campaigns.
• Source, engage and collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure successful execution of our campaigns and other assigned tasks.
• Devise metrics to analyze the success of marketing campaigns.

How will you get there?

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, advertising or related field. Knowledge of scientific equipment business will be of advantage.
• 2+ years of experience in a business environment running multiple projects simultaneously, with a consistent track record to deliver initiatives, on time and on budget.
• Event organization experience and attention to detail are also the requirements.
• Some experience with omni-channel environment: print, digital, presentation, video, and others.
• Enjoy learning and adopting new marketing tools.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Eloqua, or equivalent.
• Possess creativity, curiosity, effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Google Cloud provides customers a portfolio of fully managed open-source and commercial database services as well as innovative cloud-native databases developed by Google. In addition, the portfolio also includes popular third-party database services to meet the requirements of our customers.

In this role, you will be a subject matter expert on the Google database portfolio and help develop new solution initiatives and the materials to support a broad cross-functional group of internal stakeholders and partners. You will also engage with strategic customers to articulate the databases portfolio and help design and optimize the customers data management environment using Google Cloud databases. You will help ensure technical and commercial readiness of these solutions, including assets to enable go-to-market teams, and provide field feedback to the Product and Engineering teams to help shape product direction.

Qualifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead customer database discovery and assessment workshops to identify and classify workloads and goals for moving to Google Cloud databases.
• Build reusable assets including sales/technical presentations, solution workshops, key win stories, and maintain competitive collateral.
• Provide guidance and training to field sales teams on identifying and prioritizing customer opportunities, create messaging and offers and help with agreement progression by mitigating blockers.
• Collaborate with product/solution teams and the solution architecture team to build use case specific assets and provide feedback on product enhancements.
• Work closely with the partner teams to build specialisation on the Google Cloud database portfolio, participate in partner-led customer events and assist partners in strategic customer opportunities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience with data management architectures including storage subsystems, high availability, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, performance, scalability, security, monitoring and database management.
• Experience with relational, NoSQL operational database technologies, and data analytics solutions.
• Experience with database migrations for Operational Support Systems (OSS) database migrations and Oracle/SQL server to open-source databases.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) databases (e.g., Cloud Spanner, Bigtable, and AlloyDB).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience building product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept planning, execution and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption of database solutions.
• Experience with data migration strategies and moving large scale production systems either in on-premise or data center environments or migration to cloud scenarios.
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales or professional consulting in the fields of data and information life-cycle management translating customer business needs into cloud centric solutions.
• Experience in a regional role with the ability to lead by influence in an ambiguous environment with experience building compelling value propositions and commercial proposals.
