The Electrical technician will exhibit exemplary safety and technical competence in all matters pertaining to electrical maintenance works on around the vessel. He is responsible for ensuring that he maintains competence to carry out allotted tasks.

Responsibilities & Standards

1. Maintain and adjust the condition of electrical assets: Electrical Systems, Equipment, UPS Batteries, Generators Switchboards, Motors, Wiring, Portable tools, etc

· Comply with relevant authorisation procedures, safe working practices and specific instructions.

· Complete maintenance in an agreed timescale, using safe and appropriate methods and agreed procedures.

· Ensure resources and spares are planned for and used cost effectively.

Your tasks:

• Operate the terminal system (including jetties) according to the company's work procedures by efficiently carrying out the Daily Action Plan, updating the daily checklists and shift logs in order to keep track of the most recent procedures and track activities.
• Ensure compliance with all HSSEQ rules and regulations, including wearing the appropriate PPE, and assume suitable role(s) stipulated in the terminal's Emergency Response Plan (ERP), in order to guarantee safety of the terminal, the employees and the individual.
