Client is looking for Software Developers – Full Stack to design, develop and maintain high quality, world class software applications. This includes functional and technical design, coding, issues investigation and correction, application tesing and maintenance activities.

Role & Responsibility

• Designs and implements systems using a variety of languages (e.g., Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, etc.)
• Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation
• Identifies and debugs, and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into application architecture
• Analyses designs to determine coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution
• Ensure delivery within tight timelines and meeting the team’s expectation
• Get involved in the entire lifecycle of the SDLC
• Understand the requirement and ensure quality deliverables
• Ensure quality and optimized coding with proper documentation
• Develop unit plan and perform unit testing and provide continuously improved product experience
• Provide in-depth engineering support (debugging, performance optimizations, etc.) during the rollout phase to customers

• At least 2-5 years (5-8 years for senior) of experience in developing various applications for production
• Experienced in using clean code practices, and writing readable, maintainable code
• Good understanding of end-to-end application architecture
• Delivered at least one large-scale project to production
• Experienced in backend and/or frontend development
• Solid knowledge in Java technology (Java 8, Spring framework 4.0)
• Solid knowledge in Database technology (MYSQL/Postgres/Mongo database)
• Experience in designing, mock up, developing the UI of websites and/or web applications.
• Solid markup skills utilizing HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Photoshop , Responsive Design.

Description:

As a Sr. Software engineer in Dispute Systems, you will be part of a global team that develops and maintains Visa Resolve Online, a web-based application that enables Visa clients to manage their disputes and chargebacks. You will use your Java skills and experience with various technologies to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality code that meets very high business, security and resiliency requirements. You will collaborate with other teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery and operation of the application. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply new technologies and frameworks, such as AI and generative AI, to enhance the functionality and performance of the application.

Responsibilities:

• Learn the Visa Dispute business domain, analyze requirements, evaluate different coding options and participate in scoping and sizing activities
• Design, develop, test and maintain code for the Visa Resolve Online application
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members including vendor partner teams
• Participate in the technology proof-of-concepts and learn new technologies and frameworks
• Understand and enhance coding guidelines and participate in code review processes
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Collaborate with Product Owners, DevOps, Security, Automation and Level 3 Support teams to ensure alignment across initiatives.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Support Engineer professional to join our team to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to collaborate with various departments to support and maintain our software systems.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and troubleshoot production issues (Linux VMs, Vendor Product, SFTP).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.

Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to prevent future issues.

Create and maintain documentation related to production issues and resolutions via JIRA.

Implement and maintain processes and procedures to improve production support.

Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system performance and issue status.

Ensure proper deployment and release of software updates & infrastructure patches/upgrades.

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production issues after business hours. There are two shifts, Morning (7 AM to 4 PM) and Afternoon (2 PM to 11 PM), running 7 days a week.

Deployments during silent hours.

Development work within the vendor product (about 10%-20% of time).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

2–4 years of experience in Production Support or related role.

Strong technical skills in Java, SQL, UNIX, and scripting languages.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues efficiently.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.

Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

• Preferably more than 5 years of experience as a full stack developer

• Experience in developing end-to-end applications.

• Experience working in both Unix and Windows operating environments are preferred.

• Knowledge of multiple frond-end languages and libraries (e.g. React, NodeJS, Typescript and JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).

• Knowledge with hands on experience in technologies like .Net core, Net5 above and C#

• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, Microsoft SQL) with Entity Framework.

• ICT Assessment Certification for software Developer (NUS-ISS) will be an added advantage.
