• Develop automation scripts for builds, deployments, and test frameworks.

Requirements

• Good understanding of concurrent software systems and building them in a way that is scalable, maintainable, and robust
• Experience in designing application solutions in hadoop ecosystem
• Deep understanding of the concepts in Hive, HDFS, yarn, Spark, Spark sql, Scala and Pyspark
• HDFS file formats and their use cases (eg Parquet, ORC, Sequence etc)
• Good knowledge in data warehousing system
• Experienced in any scripting language (SHELL, PYTHON)
• HortonWorks distribution and understanding on SQL engines (Tez, MR)
• Java/RestServices/Maven experience is a value addition
• Control-M development. Monitoring Resource utilization using Grafana Tool

Primary Objectives of Position

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop/ maintain SharePoint and low-code applications based on requirements, as well as timely turnaround of requests and incidents.

Manage digitalisation related projects from inception to closure.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and write technical/ functions specifications.
• Analyse business processes and requirements to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop new or existing applications under Microsoft or SharePoint platform and utilize other suitable tools (e.g., Power Platform, Nintex, scripting, etc) available to enhance the applications.
• Digitize manual forms and automate processes using Office 365 apps to improve on operational efficiency and staff productivity.
• Provide training and support to business users of the deployed solutions.
• Develop SOP, user guides, training materials and systems documentations and ensure these are up-to date.
• Prepare reports/ dashboards for IT Department.
• Run community engagement to encourage digital adoption and grow citizen developer community
• Administer websites to ensure they always run efficiently and securely.

Responsibilities

• Based on the cases assigned, troubleshoot, and develop the solution that meets the business needs using the OutSystems Rapid Application Development platform.
• Conduct peer code reviews as specified according to project standards.
• Deliver all documentations defined for the projects that minimally includes design specifications, program specifications and unit test plan.
• Design, document and develop programs to resolve cases and ensure the developed programs fulfil the business requirements.
• Ensure optimal system design and configuration of the application functionality.
• Ensure programs developed pass the required vulnerability assessments and code quality inspections.
• Ensure the quality of the deliverables.
• Participate in any quality assurance activities and resolve any risks or areas for improvement identified.
• Participate in the change request process which includes performing impact assessment, development, and testing.
• Perform risk management which includes identification of risk, provision of mitigation solutions and management for risks.
• Perform the following key maintenance and implementation activities:
