Responsibilities

Regional role including:

• Providing legal support for trading activities across diverse commodities
• Structuring trade finance transactions
• Assisting in the development of commodities financing products and instruments
• Offering expertise in financial derivative documentation and advice
• Providing legal counsel to front office, internal risk and compliance teams
• Supporting regulatory reform and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Possess 2+ PQE in commodities trading and/or finance, acquired from a law firm, financial institution, or trading house
• Demonstrate knowledge of commodity markets and familiarity with derivatives and general finance documentation
• Exhibit drive, commitment, and strong organizational skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
• Display meticulous attention to detail and consistently deliver high-quality work
• Showcase commercial acumen and the ability to exercise quick and sound judgment in complex situations
• Cultivate strong working relationships with stakeholders and clients, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

· Building rapport/ relationships with key stakeholders in providing administrative support on a prompt basis

· Responsible in calendar management, meetings arrangement, expense management, travel arrangement

· Provide administrative support on fee earners’ business development activities in assisting on research, proposal and presentation slides draft etc.

· Transcribing, editing and amending legal and other documents including marketing presentations and materials.

· Converting, comparing, copy typing and proofreading the same as necessary, ensuring that documents comply with house style

· Assisting lawyers with the billing process and ensuring timely submission of bills, including drawing up pre-bills, editing of narratives, preparing cover letters/emails and finalizing bills

· Other ad-hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements:

Min Diploma in business administration

Min 4-5 years of experience working as a legal secretary/ personal assistant in the legal industry

Excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft suite

Good communication skills and detailed personnel

Timeline-sensitive personnel with good critical thinking mentality

We are currently engaged by my client, who is a leader in mobile gaming that has captivated more than 20 million of players worldwide.

What you’ll be doing:

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiation of contracts related to the company’s business
• Providing support and legal advice in relation to corporate matters
• Liaising with external counsels and advisors
• Contract review and Management
• Participation in various projects with the Compliance, Commercial and Finance teams
• Providing legal advice on matters relating to intellectual property rights, data protection, general commercial and contract law matters and dispute resolution
• Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda or legal analysis for internal stakeholders

What you’ll bring to the role:

• At least 7 years PQE (qualified in Singapore, US, UK or other comparable common law jurisdiction)

• Prior regional experience working on related matters in the technology field will be a plus
• Keen interest and good understanding of developments in the internet, technology-related space
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills

skills and experience required
You will require at least 2 years of legal secretarial experiences in a credible or international law firm. Ability to use CRM tools including Intapp, Lexis Nexis and Interaction is desirable.
