Working Hours: 9am - 6pm

Salary: Highly Negotiable (Based on current team, Experience and Capability)

Requirements:

• Well versed with syariah law practices, matters, disputes, divorce...etc matters
• Conveyancing Lawyer with experience
• Open to negotiation to bring in own team
• Able to bring in your own client base
• Excellent in the knowledge and understanding of syariah law and procedures
• Must demonstrate independence, initiative, and strong analytical skills while being a team player with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on corporate matters.
• Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to investments, joint ventures, and partnerships.
• Mitigate risks and ensure legal enforceability of all documentation.
• Facilitate clear and professional communication with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Support the development and execution of corporate investment strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address legal risks and align business objectives.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments related to the projects
• Advise management on legal implications of policy changes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in Law (LL.M or equivalent).
• Fluency in Business English & Business Chinese (verbal and written) is mandatory in order to communicate with stakeholders & business clients in China.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in corporate law, specializing in PE, VC and M&A, or even in the financial sector.s.
• Experience working with international clients or multinational corporations is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional contract negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
