The role will report into the CFO who is based in Middle East and is mainly responsible for the financial control of the entity in Singapore and its subsidiaries. The focus areas are Financial Control and Financial Transactions. These are vital to the success of the business, with process improvement, automation and system investment on the agenda. The role will have direct reports in the Financial Control are in Singapore and indirect reports in the Middle East and India, as well as strong collaboration with the regional Commercial Finance / FP&A team.

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Oversee the regional responsibility for the financial matters relating to financial and management reporting, consolidation of group accounts, taxation and ad-hoc reports as required by group Headquarters

• Oversee the process for financial reporting and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

• Lead the Company’s Statutory and IFRS audit

• Review and improve current Risk Management processes in place with local senior management

• Responsible for cashflow matters, treasury cash management and credit control

• Effective tax planning and structuring for the region

• Responsible for risk assessment of proposals and contract terms and conditions including negotiation / resolutions of commercial contract disputes

• Review and process Non-Disclosure Agreements and other types of cooperative business arrangements when requested. Ensure legal documents are completed and signed (excluding job projects)

• Monitor, evaluate and report on compliance with asset management policies and procedures

• Provide guidance to Finance Department staff members on the implementation and updates of local and Group financial policies and procedures

• Lead, supervise and develop the Staff members in Finance Department which includes guiding staff members in enhancing their knowledge and competency in accounting and financial work

• Support a successful implementation of the new financial system, as well as integration into new systems around the region to manage customers, assets and people

• Automation of accounting processes to improve accuracy, timelines and effectiveness

• Consideration of insourcing external accounting providers in the Middle East and India

• Consideration for India financial shared services function for transactional finance activities

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.

2. Proven work experience in Senior Finance Management role for at least 5 years. Experience across a wide spectrum of finance functions.

3. Strong business acumen and keen analytical skills.

4. Comfortable with ambiguity and works well in a fast-paced startup ecosystem.

5. Demonstrated senior leadership experience, emphasizing successful operational management and strategic planning.

6. Proven track record of enhancing organizational growth, operational efficiency, and financial performance, showcasing strong business acumen.

7. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a focus on inspiring teams, making business improvements, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the supervision and resource planning of the Credit Review Group(CRG).
• Provide guidance and further enhance the overall capability of CRG.
• Management reporting on CRG’s activities in a timely manner.
• Support Co-Heads of IADAP on the reporting of CRG’s activities to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the planning group and other relevant groups to enhance the efficiency and quality of the internal processes.
• Support various requests from IAD Tokyo.
• Make audit plans annually for the credit reviews in accordance to the risk assessment in APAC region.
• Cascade the credit review plans to CRG members and ensure deliverables are completed according to planned timeline.
• Supervise CRG members to follow-up on open issues identified and conduct validation review on remediation actions taken by auditee in accordance with CRG recommendations and address BUs’ concerns accordingly.
• Travel within APAC region is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• 10-15 years’ experience in the areas of credit risk analysis, credit approval and/or credit review function. Audit experience in a leadership capacity would be an added advantage.
• Excellent and extensive knowledge in credit risk analysis, financial analysis/projections and credit rating models across Large Corporates, Structured Real Estate finance, Project Finance, Securitization, LBO and/or Banks/Non-Banks Financial Institutions.
• General knowledge in Retail and Islamic Finance would be an added advantage.
• Strong ability and confidence to lead the group members effectively with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Good writing and communication skills. Proficiency in both English and Japanese is highly preferred to present and communicate with senior stakeholders at Japan Head Office.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Powerpoint. Added advantage for knowledge/experience in programming applications e.g. Power BI, Python.

• Oversee daily operations of the hair salon, including staff management, scheduling, and customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase salon revenue and profitability.
• Recruit, train, and supervise salon staff, including hairstylists, receptionists, and assistants.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism are maintained throughout the salon.
• Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Monitor and analyze salon performance metrics, such as sales figures, appointment bookings, and customer satisfaction ratings.
• Implement and enforce salon policies and procedures, including safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and techniques to ensure the salon remains competitive.
• Collaborate with salon owner or upper management on strategic planning and goal setting.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years in relevant experience.
• To be able to manage pressure of multi customers service requests and time management.
• Able to work irregular timing.
• To be able to read Customer needs and hair style.
