Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a principal interface between Project BU and Sales BU upon receipt of request For Quotation (RFQ) from the Sales team.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposal for analyzer system, including all necessary documents (deviation list, drawings, spare parts list, project schedule, project organization chart, sub-vendor list, etc.) as requested in Material Requisition.
• Prepare preliminary design and costing on Analyzer System, not limited to Sample Handling System, Analyzers, and Racks/Cabinets/Shelters with support from the engineering team.
• Prepare and submit technical bid evaluation and revised proposal until all technical aspects are clarified with clients.
• Update the Sales Manager on the progress & status of quotations.
• Attend technical clarification meetings or kick-off meetings before/after the award, wherever possible.
• Attend commercial negotiations with clients together with the Sales team whenever required.
• Hand over awarded projects to the Project Business Unit with compilation of all required documentation.
• Implementation of engineering process with best practices, standards, tools, policies, procedures, templates and other shared documentation available from the Company.
• Source and evaluate new products, i.e. analyzers, sample system components, etc.
• Lead engineering & proposal team within territory, inclusive of workload distribution, managing performance, coaching, and mentoring/training new/junior staff within the department.
• Support international projects through other company offices as and when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of any information that is classified as Confidential.
• Decision-making in line with operating procedures and company objectives.
• Assume leadership and management of engineering & proposal team members assigned and develop them into proficient individual/team members.
• Ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and ultimate disposition of information.
• Ensure the integrity of the proposal and engineering documentation archives in accordance with the Company Procedure.
• Provide assistance to support assembly work during the production stage.
• Provide assistance to support the Service Team in the organization during testing or site service.
• Supervise Document Controller in the preparation of final and As-built documentation, Operation and Maintenance Manual, and Manufacturer Data Records.
• Conduct post-project reviews.
• Implementation and maintenance of the lessons learned process.
• Ensure focus on understanding customer needs and solving customer problems to improve customer satisfaction.
• Provide sales support on both engineering and commercial issues for system projects.
• Ensure accurate and competitive cost estimation for major systems project pursuit.
• Provide assistance for involvement in the bid process.

Responsibilities

Work with a team of analysts to ensure prompt delivery of service to responsible clients to achieve the set financial objectives and other operational performance indicators.

• Assist the senior member in identifying a new business opportunity in the industry
• Constructs and implements the analytical plan
• Consult with clients regarding research designs and general study concerns
• Supervises direct reports by answering questions, providing constructive and consistent feedback, and conducting performance appraisals promptly

Daily responsibilities:

1. Providing day to day support to the oil, products, carbon, power and LNG  trading desks (in particular, the LNG desk), including drafting, reviewing and negotiating, spot and term sale and purchase contracts, tenders and storage agreements, and dealing with “live” issues relating to potential and actual non-performance, force majeure events, and quantity and quality issues;
2. Providing day to day support in relation to shipping matters;
3. Working with and managing external counsel in connection with contentious and non-contentious matters; and
4. Working closely with the Credit team in connection with payment and security matters, counterparty default, credit and cargo insurance, and the Compliance team including in connection with the drafting and negotiation of sanctions and anti-corruption provisions, and regulatory matters.

The successful incumbent will represent the first line of defence and be a key stakeholder in driving the AML/KYC function within the region. The scope of work will be completed in accordance with IQ-EQ’s internal AML/CFT framework, as well as international and domestic AML/CFT regulations and guidelines, across a wide spectrum of service offerings, both internal and external. This role will cover both fund administration and corporate segments.

Tasks

• Managing the AML/KYC team in Singapore.
• Act as subject matter expert and main point of contact to clients and internal departments, providing support and guidance on all AML/KYC matters where required.
• Perform client and fund investor due diligence for new & existing accounts in accordance with MAS and CIMA AML/CFT rules, along with internal policies and procedures to identify and mitigate any risks for the clients and IQ-EQ.
• Manage end to end process including kick off projects and coordination with clients, and all other relevant stakeholders within the IQ-EQ teams.
• Review and conduct source of wealth & funds corroboration of clients and investors in line with regulatory requirements.
• Familiar with AML/KYC requirements for individuals and different types of entities e.g., Companies, Limited Partnerships, Financial Institutions, VCCs, Trusts etc.
• Well-versed in Enhanced Due Diligence for high-risk cases including PEPs, Adverse Media, Sanctions, and other independent recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
• Provide support to the business during preparation of escalation processes to the Asia Leadership Team and/or Group Risk & Compliance.
• Assisting in contributing to the updating and documenting of processes and procedures in all aspects of the AML/KYC cycle.
• Lead any system development projects and ensure all team members are updating the necessary registers and databases in a timely and accurate manner.
• Preparation of Key Risk Indicators and other management reports.
• Assist with client and internal ad-hoc requirements from time to time which include but are not limited to process walkthroughs, internal audit, AML questionnaires and/or regulatory inspections.
• Leading training of new and existing joiners, and other colleagues covering areas such as remediation projects, latest regulations, change in operational processes and refreshers as and when required.
• Implementing and driving efficiency within the team, supervising tasks performed by team members.
• Contribute ideas and participate in transformation and change initiatives to drive continuous improvement to further enhance key deliverables.
