Job Description

The Technician will:
• Carry out all emergency repairs to all technical equipment related to the individual’s skill and experience level.
• Perform preventative maintenance and condition monitoring programs.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance to all plants and equipment based on skill and experience level.
• Control and monitor all Engineering supplies and assist in inventory procedures.
• Assist in the administration of the department by completing the necessary forms, documents, log books, and computer print-outs in a timely and accurate manner as directed.
• Do preventive and overhaul maintenance.
• Review daily log book, rectify or follow up on all items left unsolved from any previous shifts, and discuss the same with the Supervisor/ Chief Engineer.
• Be responsible for the correct operation of the physical plant and all Engineering facilities of the entire property in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintenance program, and operation schedule.
• Undertake all necessary repairs in his section ensuring maximum utilization and minimum breakdown of assigned equipment.
• Be responsible for writing on the backside of work order, assumed reason for breakdowns/replacements.
• Give daily Associate reports to the Supervisor/ Chief Engineer.
• Keep the Supervisor/ Chief Engineer informed of inoperative equipment, the progress of work, possible delay, job performance, issues, discipline, and any discrepancies within his crew.
• Keep a close watch on spare parts/supplies required and advises Supervisor/ Chief Engineer of reordering in advance to ensure that replacement parts/supplies are always readily available.
• Maintain records relating to utility costs throughout the property.

And the rest of the time, Technician will
• Perform other duties and functions as may be assigned by the Supervisor/ Chief Engineer from time to time.
• Participate in any Engineering initiatives and projects.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

What it takes to be a really great Technician
• Vocational School or A Diploma
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
• Good command of English is required; Additional language is an asset
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in demanding situations
• Ability to work under own initiative in a highly pressured environment
• Ability to develop relationships with 3rd parties and the property teams
• Capacity to read situations, understand environments and respond accordingly
• Someone who is a good team player, honest, details oriented, neat and tidy
• 5 Days work week

Job Description:

▪ Prepare tender proposal write up and accurate costing and price calculations within stipulated deadlines

▪ Plan, deliver, and submit tenders in a timely and professional manner

▪ Prepare ad hoc quotations

▪ Prepare and present effective sales presentations

▪ Follow up with business opportunities and new sales channel

▪ Manage existing and potential client portfolio

▪ Monitor contract renewal and follow up with clients on renewal needs

▪ Manage ERP system and work closely with accounts to ensure system is in line with department requirements

Job Requirement:

1) Model, motivate and communicate regularly to all site staff on the mission, vision, and core values

2) Prepare, organize, collate and submit all required operational and HR documentation to achieve compliance guidelines and deadlines

3) Forecast, plan, recruit and deploy manpower duties and schedules to meet the site contractual requirements

4) Guide, coach, and inspect daily and ad-hoc cleaning jobs and tasks are performed according to clients expectations and SOPs guidelines

5) Conduct and monitor effective OJT training to all new operations staff based on the training blueprint standards to achieve operational excellence and skillsets

6) Attend to all feedbacks or complaints from clients and take immediate measures to solve the issues and prevent future recurrence

7) To place an order, replenish, monitor, and track cleaning material stock and equipment to achieve minimum wastage

8) Conduct and upkeep proper record of Client's Meeting. Toolbox meeting staff safety Induction and all relevant Workplace Safety & Health documentation
