PROGRAMME

Selected candidates will undergo a structured 44-month training program to qualify for a CAT B License from Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). On successful completion of training, you will be appointed as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) and perform/certify aircraft maintenance task including inspection, repair, modification, and functional tests. You can look forward to a rewarding career in the aerospace industry with opportunities for overseas postings and career progression. Outstanding LAEs will have the opportunity to progress to executive and management positions.

TRAINING

• Classroom lectures at Training Academy inclusive of SAR 66 basic course modules and other associated skills and aircraft systems training with examinations/assessments after each module
• Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) examinations applicable for the category of licence
• On-the-job (practical) training at base and line maintenance environment, as well as other applicable workshops

OBLIGATIONS

• Trainees are required to serve employment of 5 years in the Company upon the completion of training
• If a trainee does not complete the training successfully or does not serve a minimum employment period of 5 years, trainee will have to pay for training costs of up to $115,000 (liquidated damages)

• Engineering Degree from recognized university
• Polytechnic Diploma (Engineering) - GPA > 3.3
• Strong interest in technical role within Aviation industry

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing onsite technical support, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and customer training for radiology equipment, diagnostic monitors, nurse call systems, and operating lights. This role requires a proactive, customer-oriented professional who is adept at managing field service tasks and ensuring the operational efficiency of medical and radiology systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting for radiology equipment, diagnostic monitors, PCs, accessories, nurse call systems, and operating lights.
• Ensure quick and effective diagnosis of equipment issues and apply corrective actions to restore functionality.
• Perform monthly updates of DVD/USB counter records and log checks, obtaining customer signatures for verification and documentation purposes.
• Maintain accurate service logs and provide timely reports for all service visits.
• Provide onsite support, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for automatic DICOM DVD/USB burners and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
• Ensure the system's compliance with safety and performance standards and address issues to minimize downtime.
