Job Description

Perform the Manufacturing Engineering activity in Engine Overhaul/Component Repair production areas. Act as Technical Authority, assuring the initial and continuing capability of the Production method to produce conforming product and ensuring the resolution of technical issues/problems/arisings to meet business and customer requirements for safety, cost, delivery rate and leadtime (SQCD). Support integration on all Manufacturing Engineering activities across the product lifecycle and through the supply chain.

Responsibilities

The Engineer/Supervisor (Operations and Maintenance) is responsible for ensuring the continuous operations of equipment, components and systems. He/She supervises the operations and maintenance of equipment and systems. He leads the initiatives for identifying and implementing innovation within the organisation. He also follows corporate guidelines and best practices, monitoring compliance of work activities to regulatory and statutory policies, procedures and regulations. The Job:

· Carry out preventive maintenance for all equipment used

· Responsible for the servicing of failing equipment and buggies

· Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical defects in diesel-powered equipment, electric-powered buggies, trucks and other mechanical machineries that are used in daily maintenance works
