• Actively manage, develop, motivate, coach, and coordinate direct activities of the workgroups, in order to deliver the Schindler objectives (client satisfaction, quality, productivity, efficiency, top and bottom line).

• Optimize the team staffing by planning the personnel needs including workloads and training for effective deployment and cost control.

• Lead and provide technical support to internal staff (from service, project, sales, sales engineering department & subcontractor) to optimize the workgroups and tools to ensure timely and quality completion as per contractual obligations and code requirement to meet the objective of sales, invoicing, yield and quality of work.

• Lead / perform complex repair, part replacement, supervision of sub contractor works, troubleshoot on lifts

• Perform administrative process (e.g., Generate report, complete test reports, generate defect list, service report / delivery order for client inspection and endorsement for internal / external stakeholders).

• Perform technical assessment for the repair technicians.

• Execute leadership to technicians in matters of customer and employee satisfaction, adding value to the business, quality of work and operational efficiency.

• Perform regular audits and checks to ensure that all processes and work methods comply with quality, safety, and technical requirements.

• Supervise milestones achievement and initiate corrective actions in coordination with the repair works.

• Conduct safety walks, safety inspection and identify unsafe events, unsafe work condition

• Analyse root causes for deviations and set up corrective actions for non-conformities.

About the role:

• Planning and coordination of all hull inspection and steel renewal scope to fulfill Class (ABS) requirement
• Digest and consolidate all piping and structure abnormally and ABS/BMA punch list.
• Plan and organize resources and materials to support the offshore repair campaign.
• Details the POB look ahead planning of each work by evaluating the project progress (onshore/offshore) and resources availability.
• Coordinate with the onshore Quality Control Team and supply chain for material and tools delivery.
• Follow-up and support offshore execution supervisor daily.
• Prepare RFQ to obtain the quotation from offshore service contractors, liaise with procurement to issue purchase order, and coordinate embarkation and disembarkation of offshore service contractors.
• Embark offshore regularly to ensure works carry out safely.
• Under the supervision of the Lead Planner or a direct report of this position, collate and compile the necessary information to support timely schedule development and reporting.
• Develop the project planning and progress measurement procedures according to project requirements and ensure proper implementation in the course of work.

• Develop and maintain logically linked, resource loading (where applicable) detailed plans using Company planning tools and best industry practices.

About you:

• Diploma/Degree in construction/ mechanical/ structural engineering
• EPC construction experience for brownfield FPSO repair projects at Shipyard
• Construction planning experience for Offshore based oil and gas projects, with specific experience in managing hull inspections and remedial scope
• High level of computer literacy in office packages: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Primavera P6
