Summary

The Senior Control Room Supervisor / Control Room Supervisor is responsible for leading a team to run operations smoothly (managing manpower and resources) to minimize complains and ensure on time delivery to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and check attendance of subordinates
• Prepare monthly Catering flight schedule for distribution to user departments
• Oversee on-going operations in Catering Control and to ensure:

▫ Catering orders received from the Airlines are acknowledged, processed, and updated

▫ Messages received from the Airlines are acknowledged and conveyed to the relevant departments, section

heads, individuals, OE DPT and MCO for action

▫ Ensure the Control staff duly carries out printing sequence for the Daily Aircraft Food Supply Sheet

▫ Ensure Catering charges for the handling of Ad hoc flights are costed by Food & Beverage (F&B)

Department and the charges are made known to Ground Services Division, Apron Department

▫ Ensure cash collected for the handling of Ad hoc flights are handed over to F&B department on the

following working day

• Attend to handling of Ad hoc Flights Catering and ensure coordination in the activities required for processing of the Flight’s Catering Uplift
• Liaise with Catering Purchasing Section on the requisition of non-stock items required by the Airlines (scheduled or ad hoc)
• Ensure security and proper use of the Section's petty cash funds
• Liaise, communicate and co-ordinate with Operations Sections on changes in Catering Menus of delayed flight, when these are known
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head

Requirements

• GCE 5 “N” levels or 2 “O” levels
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
• Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 License

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the performance and repair standards of the workshop shift team.
• Liaise with stores personnel to identify all material requirements and usages.
• Ensure all maintenance work performed adhere strictly to standards established by the Company and any legal requirements.
• Optimize work to ensure maximum availability of vehicles to meet operational requirements.
• Work with all parties to minimise lost mileages due to engineering failures and issues.
• Ensure strict adherence to the planned inspection and maintenance schedules, Health & Safety procedures, legal and company regulations.
• Undertake any necessary audit to ensure strict compliance with established processes and procedures.
• Supervise and ensure workplace safety and health risks are identified, assessed and controlled, and provide employees with information on compliance to workplace safety and health policies.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must at least attain a Professional Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 2 years of working experience and 1 year of supervisory experience in an automotive/ manufacturing or equivalent environment.
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Candidate with a valid Class 3 driving license will be advantageous.
• Able to commit to shift work (including rotating shift/ permanent night shifts).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting Administrative Officer, Component Services (Reliability & Modification Management) in the following duties:-

• Assisting Administrative Officer (AO) in the monitoring and tracking of off-wing rotables modifications for SIAEC’s Inventory Technical Management (ITM) Customers together with internal stakeholders.
• Assisting AO in the monitoring and tracking of off-wing rotables inventory pool for compliance with Airworthiness Directives together with internal stakeholders.
• Assisting AO in the monitoring and tracking of seed units that have been taken from OEMs for modification programmes.
• Assisting AO in the extracting and reviewing of components’ removal data/shop finding for the monitoring of the components’ reliability performance.
• Preparing of ITM customers components’ reliability performance report to the for review.
• Coordinating with relevant internal stakeholders to attain and review removal data from ITM customers for the identification and management of potential rogue units.
• Compiling of data required for the analysis of the component reliability evaluations.
• Monitoring and managing of administrative matters for the team’s General Staffs (GS).
• Any other duties assigned by superiors.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma with minimum 3 years working experience preferred.
• Prior working experience within the aviation industry is advantageous but not necessary.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to integrate multiple ideas and information from across various fields.
• Experience with SAP, Data Visualization Tools and Process enhancement skills is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish team effectiveness and manage partnerships to create a cooperative working environment which enables the achievement of goals.

Job Description:

1. Be part of the SIAEC Line Maintenance team in providing motorised equipment across the company

2. Lead a team of maintenance staff and a team of Store personnel to achieve high availability and reliability of motorised equipment in a cost-effective manner

3. Oversee day-to-day operations in the maintenance of Airtugs and Motorised Ground Equipment, including the review of key performance indicators with the maintenance team and the recovery of equipment

4. Build a coherent equipment mix to meet operational demands and drive the purchase of suitable motorised equipment across the company

5. Ensure compliance to quality and safety in operations

6. Develop and maintain an inventory plan to ensure accountability and availability of spares, tools and consumables

7. Drive the adoption of Electric Vehicles and Autonomous Vehicles to support the company’s effort towards Sustainability

8. Drive LEAN methodologies in maintenance to improve productivity

Requirements:

1. Degree in Engineering (Aerospace / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering)

2. Demonstrated experience in aviation, production planning and project management would be an advantage

3. Experience in Equipment Tools Maintenance is an added advantage

4. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, operational and communication skills
