About the job

You will join the Real Estate and Workplace Experience and Record Information Management newly created team. This team monitors the creation of all Sanofi CHC locations and services and manages all issues for the Consumer Healthcare Business Unit buildings worldwide.

The newly created team will develop the strategic roadmap and implement new business models for Real Estate and the workplace Experience.

The Regional Sites Head will be responsible for all activities related to the Sanofi CHC sites in his/her region. Main responsibilities

Job Description:

Senior Fire Safety Manager

• To oversee the general fire safety and maintenance of firefighting facilities for the assigned property, as well as the planning and execution of fire emergency procedures for the occupants.
• To carry out routine inspections to exercise supervision over the maintenance of fire safety measures within the assigned property.
• To submit the annual report to the Fire Safety Bureau (FSB) for the renewal of fire certificate.
• To conduct monthly inspections and assist the Employer/Client in developing an effective Fire Safety Management Programme for the assigned property.
• To assist in the preventive maintenance of all fire protection systems provided in the assigned property is carried out by the vendors or their local agents.
• To ensure the occupants’ load of any part of any building does not exceed the capacity prescribed under the fire code.
• To check whether any fire hazard condition is found within the assigned property.
• To assist the Employer/Client in complying with all fire safety requirements and providing an emergency plan according to the Fire Safety Act.
• To assist the Employer/Client to ensure at all times that fire safety requirements contained in the fire emergency plan are complied with.
• To prepare and formulate a fire emergency plan for the assigned property and to assist the Employer/Client in organizing fire drill as regulated by the Fire Safety Act in order to ensure that all persons employed in or using the property or part thereof, are familiar with all means of escape in case of fire.
• To assist and train the site staff to co-ordinate and supervise the occupants in the property in firefighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other emergencies.
• To assist the Employer/Client to supervise and control the operation of fire command centre in the event of fire or other emergencies.
• To carry out such other duties as the Commissioner may require under Fire Safety Act.

Job Responsibilities:

• Overall responsible for the smooth and efficient operations of the property.
• Monitor day-to-day facilities and maintenance operations.
• Involve in ad-hoc project management and to undertake feasibility studies.

• Supervise the front office, operations, housekeepers, security and maintenance staff and to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Review processes and workflow to maximize tenant's satisfaction.
• Handle tenant’s complaints, maintain a record of feedback and take remedial actions to resolve issues.
• Establish and maintain strong and positive relationships with all landlords, tenants, vendors and contractors.
• Conduct regular inspections of properties and perform preventive maintenance to keep the property functioning in good condition.
• Ensure compliance of safety & building regulations and all other statutory requirements.
• Be part of the CERT team and assist in the coordination of drills, exercises and trainings to ensure it is carried out as per schedule.
• Perform any ad-hoc task as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Hospitality, Business, Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of proven work experience in the Hospitality (specifically in Rooms) or Property Management industry.
• Strong leadership skills, and excellent at navigating in an unstructured environment.
• Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage and resolve conflicts equitably and in the most productive manner in accordance with the Group’s values.

We are a dessert cafe operator seeking for a Manager who is passionate about F&B business to ensure that all the outlets are managed efficiently according to the established concept statements and adhere to Company SOP, Policies & Procedures.
- To assist in emphasizing the implementation of a flexible employee base, with the proportionate number of full time and part-time staff based on established business levels for the day.
- To assign responsibilities to subordinates and to check their performance periodically.
- To represent the business and act in the best interest of the company
- To ensure that corrective actions be taken where necessary by Outlet Managers, Staffs upon monitoring the service and food and beverage standards in all outlets.
- To assist and be available and on duty during peak periods and practice hands on management style.
- To conduct frequent and thorough kitchen inspections together managers.
- To handle guest and employee inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure service recovery with guests.

-To ensure that these incidents are logged in the GIF forms and kept in file.

Guest ServiceTo establish good rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship and handle all guest complaints, requests and enquiries of food, beverage and service.
- To personally and frequently verify that guests in the outlets are receiving the best possible service.
- To spend time in the outlets (during peak periods) to ensure that the outlet is managed well by the respective outlet team and functions to the fullest expectations.
- To be demanding and critical when it comes to service standards.
- To ensure that the outlet team projects a warm, professional and welcome image and that the 3 service basics are performed (warm welcome, anticipation of guest’s needs and requests and service with a smile).

FinancialTo reinforce with all outlet managers a flexible work force using principles of multi-skilling and multi-tasking to ensure maximization of resource allocation.
- To ensure that each Food & Beverage outlet and banquet is managed successfully as an independent profit center.
- To analyze daily revenue and monitor upselling strategies and recommend innovative promotions to achieve profit.
- To assist in preparing an accurate monthly forecasts on covers, average check, revenue and expenses and schedule resources.
- To constantly review operating standards and implementation of new and innovative ideas to optimize revenue and profits.

Administration

- To ensure that all departmental operations manual are prepared and updated as assigned.
- To ensure that all Food & Beverage forms and reports by the Outlet Managers are forwarded in time to the F&B Office.
- To conduct daily operations briefings with Outlet Managers.
- To ensure that all meetings are well planned, efficient and results oriented.
- To ensure that deadlines on all projects are met.
- To counsel and discipline subordinates in matter relating to misconduct, on the part of the subordinates, contrary to the terms and conditions of employment, decide on appropriate disciplinary action including termination of employment.
- Minimum O levels or equivalent or certificate in Hotel Management of F&B Management from SHATEC or other recognized institutions preferred but not required
- WSQ Follow Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures
- Other existing and/or new Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ)
- Minimum 3-4 years’ managerial experience in a in Food & Beverage/Hotel industry
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
- Able to communicate fluently to execute upselling techniques
