About Us

Dyson NPI Operations are looking to appoint a Head of Programme Management who will report directly to the Global Operations Director New Product Introduction.

• Chair regular cross functional operations programme execution meetings to ensure responsible people are committed to executing on the identified work packages through a senior forum.
• Chair strategic meetings to resolve the highest portfolio risks and ad hoc business requests, ensuring single clear direction and alignment across Global Supply Chain Operations.

• Centralises headcount planning and recruitment for quality and consistency.
• Maps the function's capability and capacity. Aligns the functions growth with the forecasted category product range plans. Performs resource data analysis to forward plan headcount & skills shortfalls.

People Development

• Defines, documents and communicates product unit team structures, career frameworks, high performance and role development plans

Budget Management

• Consolidates OPEX budgets to deliver the Product Unit portfolio

Governance

• Defines how operations deliverables are delivered (identifying & remedying capability gaps) and ensures consistent adoption & adherence to established tools & processes as established by the Operations optimization team

Target Management

• Translate and allocate the top down GSCO annual targets into prioritised, deliverable, time bound initiatives specific to NPI Operations.

Partner Management

• Partner with the UK Operations Programme manager(s) to prepare Global Supply Chain Operations to receive future projects at the correct maturity and quality, and forward plan strategic operations projects for new to Dyson products and categories driven by the Heads of Operations.
• Forward plans internal project and people transfer (where required) for clear ownership of projects between NPI Ops and Sustaining Operations.

About you

• Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering, Business management or Supply Chain.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and demonstrated application of the methodologies.

Pratt & Whitney’s Geared Turbofan (GTF) Commercial Aftermarket organization of its Commercial Engines business is seeking a Resident Center Manager (RCM) to support the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) center for Eagle Service Asia in Singapore. The GTF RCM serves as the primary liaison between Disassembly/Assembly/Test (DAT) facilities in the GTF MRO network and Pratt & Whitney / International Aero Engines.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of the status of engines undergoing maintenance at the DAT.
• Facilitating and challenge resolution of issues that impact the DAT’s ability to complete maintenance activities according to standards and commitments.
• Ensuring DAT’s compliance with GTF MRO Network policies and contract requirements.
• Facilitating communication between the DAT and customers.
• Verifying and quantifying DAT capabilities and capacity.
• Preparing forecasts and commitments related to DAT output.
• Working with the GTF Network cost management team to execute commercial strategy for cost reduction.
• Developing standard work for interactions between the DAT and PW/IAE.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or relevant technical field of study with 7+ years of relevant work experience including project and/or operations management
• Master’s or other advanced degree in a business or technical field of study with 5+ years of relevant work experience including project and/or operations management
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable: MRO or Engine Assembly Operations, Customer Support, Contracts, Process Engineering or Powerplant Engineering.
• Working knowledge of gas turbine engines and airline/engine maintenance operations.

Job Scope

• Direct sales responsibility (by brand, country, or category, depending on PLS’s strategy) for the region, inclusive of quarterly targets.
• Perform all sales planning & reporting functions inclusive of pipeline building, gap analyses, forecasting and re-forecasting as required by PLS-SEA and its clients, market/brand/category reports evaluating sales environment and prospects, projections related to existing or new businesses in the region, evaluation of new opportunities and/or brand extensions.
