Job Description
- Position is 24x7 AOG desk that requires shift work.
- Co-ordinate and control of components requirements from customer’s base station and liaising with customer on critical spares requests.
- Sourcing for spares availability.
- Coordinate with repair staff and purchasing staff on order status.
- Initiate loan/exchange/PO activities to support material shortages.
- Manage AOG requirements for local and overseas customers.
- Monitor of AOG / critical DSS requirements for C-Checks during off hours.
- Checking IPC /ACRT for P/N interchangeability.
- Liaise with internal departments, customers, freight forwards, and vendors if required.
- Data recording and digital documentation.
- Any other adhoc duties.
Requirements:
- Working experience in material management in the aviation industry would be an advantage. Candidates with experience in inventory management in other industries would also be considered.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good human relations skills.
- Ability to learn fast and willingness to take up additional responsibilities.
- Proficiency with SAP will be advantageous.
- Customer-centric with the ability to adapt to different types of characters.
