1. Summary of the role

The Customer Support Manager (CSM) is responsible for implementing, monitoring, administering and improving customer service procedures and work flows across APAC regions, specific to aerospace customers. They may directly or indirectly lead customer support teams to acheive best in class customer support. They will establish, monitor and report specific KPI’s and seek to improve short falls. • Customer Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Gather customer feedback and insights from the sales team to improve product offerings, identify gaps in the market, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Category Manager or Product Manager, preferably in marine spare parts, marine equipment, or a related industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the marine industry, including key spare parts for various types of vessels, maintenance processes, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and interpret large amounts of data to drive strategic decisions.
• Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing strategy, and managing supplier relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively across different departments and with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proficient in using ERP systems and category management tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of marine spare parts inventory management, logistics, and supply chain best practices.
